Best headset, keyboard and mouse for cs go?
Hi fellas

I was inactive for about 2 years, before that i was playing CS 1.6 and i started CS:GO when it released, i was quite good (played 1.6 on semi-pro level) but i got a job which required more commitment and i couldn't play anymore.

Now i have room to play some CS:GO, and i want to get back since its growing and i need a distraction. So, since im not up to date, can you suggest me what gear should i buy?

Im willing to spend about 100-150$ for headsets, same for keyboard, and 50-60$ for mouse.

I need suggestions because i cant choose by my own, there are new models, so please anyone who has experience suggest me the gear. Thanks

Headsets to choose from:

http://csgogeek.com/index.php/2016/03/21/best-head..

Mouse to choose from:

http://csgogeek.com/index.php/2016/02/13/best-mous..

Keyboard to choose from:

http://csgogeek.com/index.php/2016/03/21/best-keyb..

I personally would suggest you to get Sennheiser Game Zero, Corsair Vengeance, and Zowie Ec1-a, or if you have smaller hands EC2-A. Thats the safe bet for gear
2016-04-28 02:43:03
Thanks a lot, just what i needed.

I have quite large hands, and back then when i played 1.6 i really liked the Deathadder. I see now there is Deathadder Chroma, is it any good to have for csgo?
2016-04-28 02:50:00
If you have large hands, you could get Rival 300 too, its a good mouse. If you like the Deathadder Chroma, its also great mouse and one of my favourites, its upgraded with better sensor than the older versions, and you already know that its comfortable. So yea, you can get the DA chroma too.

If you dont want to spend 170$+ on Headsets, you can get HyperX Cloud II as an alternative, they are great in all aspects. Gl to you

The Rival sometimes freaks out if you flick too fast and makes you look at the floor instead, so beware. It's a fine mouse otherwise, and I haven't had this happen during a serious game yet, but it's pretty annoying for an expensive mouse.
2016-04-28 03:22:16
Does this happen on a Rival 300, or the old Rival?
2016-04-28 03:23:37
On the 300. I've also met a ton of other people with the same issue.
2016-04-28 21:45:47
I had this problem on other Rival, i got Rival 300 and its all good, at least so far
2016-04-29 00:35:47
I had the problem with my mouse, but usually if you clean the sensor it will fix it. Take some rubbing alcohol and apply it to the sensor. It is more common in laser mice.
2016-04-29 05:31:32
well yes basically its your fault if you let your sensor pickup dirts
2016-04-29 11:01:09
The problem in the rival is actually caused by the liftoff distance, it spins out if you move the mouse when its slightly lifted. Always used to happen to me.

That's why some people notice it, and others don't. It depends on your hand movements

In opposite, i first time hear that the Rival 300 still has this issue. Try to blow into your sensor (i know it sounds funny right?), and clear your mouse-pad often. The sensor is picking up dust from your mouse pad and can cause this problems
2016-04-29 06:23:22
honestly, if you have to do all this to make a "professional" mouse work correctly, than it probably isn't very good mouse...
2016-04-29 09:47:39
Well yes, i can agree with you, but there are factors that are affecting the sensor, like the dust and dirt on the mouse-pad. The sensor needs clear surface so it can perform perfectly pixel-to-pixel.
2016-04-29 09:52:50
That is probably true. But I've never had a problem with malfunctioning mouse and I have never needed to blow in the sensor or wash my pad (I wash them once a year for hygiene anyway tho).
So if I buy a Rival 300 and I have to blow in the sensor constantly to make it work correctly, I'd say it is definitely a problem on the manufacturers side, not on my side.

I really don't like when people are excusing a bad product just because they like the brand. Referring it to others seems even worse...
2016-04-29 10:02:11
Well this is obviously a less known problem, unique one, its not an issue on every existing Rival 300. Majority of the users are very pleased of the mouse. I have tried it for short period, it worked perfectly well.

Im not even arguing that the Steelseries makes "perfect" products, im just offering thoughts for possible fixes of the issue.

However, ill say it again. Most of the Rival 300 users are pretty satisfied with the quality.
2016-04-29 10:08:09
Well, my problem with that is simple - how do you know exactly how many bad Rivals are there actually? You really can't can you?
All I'm trying to say is that I would be very careful when considering purchasing that mouse, especially if there is no official statement from SteelSeries yet (because they definitely know there is a problem but they will release a statement only after they find the solution).
2016-04-29 10:38:03
I have the rival 300 and its the best mouse ive ever used, its normal for every technical stuff to have some kind of issues to some users
2016-04-29 10:41:23
Indeed, the company should release a statement if a huge issue is found on a certain product, but this doesn't seem to be common one
2016-04-29 11:28:31
no
2016-05-05 04:21:25
I have the same mouse and the same problem

met many player in MM with the same issue and mouse
2016-05-19 05:48:29
me too.. it's annoying as fuck.
2016-06-01 18:14:52
I have a rival 300 and that never happend lol
2016-04-28 04:08:56
The old Rival had this problem, on the Rival 300 its fixed
2016-04-28 06:07:48
thx
2016-04-28 07:13:12
it does not
2016-05-06 07:28:26
Same exact thing with my FK2. I think they have the same sensor. Don't think you're going to be able to avoid it if you're going for a high-end mouse, until they come out with a better sensor.
2016-04-28 04:20:42
They have different sensors, but i assume this problem on the FK2 is unique, because i haven't heard so far that someone has this issues with FK2
2016-04-28 06:15:56
can confirm i have the same problem with Rival 300.
It will make a really quick wiggly flick towards a random direction. often towards the ground, even with very low sens.
I think the problem with this mouse is the driver doesn't have an elevation threshold you can set. So when you lift it very slightly at an odd angle it can do that. It happened to me many times in a row and sometimes not once a day. But i've never been able to do it on purpose.
2016-04-28 14:17:37
yea the rival 300 flick thing is due to a firmware problem or something.
2016-05-11 12:15:32
i can't really update it anyway. The software is shit in comparison to logitech's. can't remember what the problem was but when i bought it i couldn't use the latest version of the driver because it didn't start at all or didn't register the mouse or some idiot shit
2016-05-11 17:16:48
same happens on ec-1 haven't noticed on ec-2 even though they have the same sensors ; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZM066PB9RU
2016-10-13 04:00:28
ive been using the rival 300 (fade edition) ever since it came out and i have had zero problems with its performance. I love it, perfect mouse for my huge hands.
2017-01-11 23:13:08
Audio technica ath-adg1(x) is a better headset for CSGO. Game zero is better for music.
2016-04-28 07:59:42
Thanks ill look into them
2016-04-28 08:27:32
Had ATH AD700 and saying one of them is for music is just funny... ATH are only good if you are buing them for home use only and nobody (girlfriend etc) shares the room with you. Then againg, you can buy ZERO and use them both at home and on LAN without bothering anyone or anyone bothering you...
2016-04-29 10:14:11
Thanks for the insight mate
2016-04-29 23:33:15
Logitech g400s. Has the best shape. Same shape as the old mx518.

Headset, no. Buy real headphones instead and a mic. No need for shitty gaming products here
2016-04-28 09:43:06
Deathadder Chroma is exactly the same size and shape as the old Deathadder and works just as good!
2016-04-28 09:51:53
Thanks, i assumed that
2016-04-28 10:00:47

:P
2016-05-04 02:34:01
I feel sorry about you really
2017-01-14 04:49:34
the keyboard one is fucking stupid.... its basically what switches you want... which in most cases reds would be the best choice... but the model of keyboard is completely preference not "these 4 are the best choose one" like they didn't even include ducky keyboards some of the most heavy duty simplistic mech keyboards
2016-04-28 08:10:39
+1
2016-04-28 08:18:43
Its not just about switches, there is a build quality too. And im pretty sure they didnt said that THESE are the best keyboards for gaming in general, but the most used ones from csgo professionals.
2016-04-28 08:30:39
correct
2016-05-05 19:48:20
As someone else said, it's also about build quality, but switches are preference too. I went from blues to greens and could never imagine using reds. Too light for me.
2016-04-28 15:04:52
switches, board quality, build quality, firmware options, lightning, etc.,

not all of those are preference...
2016-05-09 13:39:23
yes also this site was just built to make money, amazon reflinks on every item. pure advertising, not real testing or anything.
2017-01-14 04:56:07
its pretty safe to say theres not a "best" keyboard for csgo, considering it dosent alter your gameplay. But if you want a cool keyboard, you can go for the Corsair k70 or razer blackwidow
2016-04-29 07:03:16
That's pretty accurate, but there ARE some little things which are making a difference. For instance, the switches. I could never play CS:GO with a fucking blue switches, they are terrible. But your point is right, every mechanical keyboard is the same to a certain level, it comes down to the switches-preference
2016-04-29 09:25:34
"I could never play CS:GO with a fucking blue switches, they are terrible." preference, I find them awesome over blacks. ;)
2016-05-09 13:40:05
Of course it's preference, I'm speaking for myself. But generally, the blues are not optimal for gaming according to majority of ppl. For typing though they are great
2016-05-09 16:14:39
and what is about mousemat ?
2016-04-30 04:44:29
There is not such a philosophy while picking mousemat i believe
2016-05-02 14:46:04
Hi there,
u seem to know much bout mices.
Some days ago i bought a Razer Abyssus 2014 for around 30 $.
Stupidly i did not know there are laser issues hindering the player to use 1000 hz.
Do u have any suggestion which settings might be the best for a good gameplay (mousehz/dpi/etc)?

2016-11-30 04:53:09
For the mouse go for the one Valve made, the fade one its very good and looks great aswell with its lights and all that. Really the mouse is based of what size your hand is.

My keyboard is a Corsair K70 RGB but its expensive so not sure for you.

Headset no idea.

Make sure you have a mousepad cus that makes everything smooth.
2016-04-28 02:45:58
Which mouse has Valve made? Btw i already have QCK heavy mouse pad from my early days, thanks :)
2016-04-28 02:50:53
He probably thinks valve created the steelseries fade mouse
2016-04-28 04:23:35
Ah, the Rival 300 fade. Clear now
2016-04-28 04:42:26
don't bother about getting the fade version though, the default black one is what i have and it's very good.
2016-04-28 07:32:08
Yup, the fade version looks very bad in my opinion, like cheap jewelry. Thanks
2016-04-28 07:38:15
Fade is pure shit
2016-04-29 09:43:50

prove it! all celebs own beats and they have monies for anything so best = beats
2016-04-30 04:27:59
they have beats because they are really well advertised, it doesn't mean they're any good plus the company often pays people to wear them in movies and real life.
2016-05-01 06:38:22
They are paying them for adverts. Open your mind.

not true, beats are stylish and gr8
2016-04-30 04:27:26
They are very stylish, but in terms of function for gaming they don't do the best job.

Hi there! Welcome back to the scene!

I'm a big mouse/keyboard/headset fanatic so I always like sharing my opinion on what the best peripherals are.

For a mouse you've got to first start with your grip types; palm and claw. I personally have played both and have had great mice for both options. For a palm grip, I've found a lot of enjoyment in using the FinalMouse 2016 (locked at 500hz pull, driverless) and for claw I personally use the Logitech G303 as my daily driver. I suggest looking at those two as they have great sensors. Another option is the Steelseries Rival (enjoyed it, had some weird sensor glitches) for Palm play style.

As for a keyboard it's another choice of preference; tenkeyless or conventional. If you're looking for a great tenkeyless keyboard with Cherry MX Blues, I can give you a code to get a Cooler Master Rapid i for $50. Another great tenkeyless option is the G410. I have a G910 and I love how fast the Romer G Switches actuate. For a conventional keyboard, take a look at the Cosair K95, its RGB (as well as the G410) and I've heard wonderful things about it; another option is the Logitech G910, although the keycaps for that particular keyboard are odd at first. I have also used the Steelseries Apex 800 and the Razer Blackwidow. I thought both were okay, the Apex has an odd space bar and I type a lot and the Blackwidow was "meh" all around in my book, but I would recommend the first options I gave more.

Headsets are a bit tricky; you want one that will last a while and provide good audio. I use a Logitech G430 and its okay, but there are far better options out there. The Steelseries Siberia 350 is nice and I've gotten good sound out of the Logitech G633 (but it sits oddly on my head, might just be me). The Void Wireless from Corsair is also nice, but I'm not sure if you prefer wired over wireless.

At the end of the day, I can only give you some options.

I personally use the Logitech G303, G910 and G430, just for the sake that I like the products and I only want to use one software. Both the FinalMouse and G503 are great options for Palm players (I play claw). The tenkeyless Cooler Master Rapid i is great (message me for discounted unit) as well as the conventional Corsair K70 (albeit pricy). Headset is pretty standard, I really only like Logitech and Steelseries and prefer Logitech.

TL;DR - Mouse: FinalMouse (Palm) G303 (Claw)
Keyboard: Rapid i (msg for discount)/G410 (tenkeyless units) or K70
Headset: G633 or Siberia 350
2016-04-28 03:05:47
Thanks man, i appreciate your opinion and your time.

I was using Microsoft Intelli 3.0 back in my time, and it was perfect mouse for me. Is there any similar mouse to that? I am kind of a claw/hybrid gripper, not totally claw grip but more towards it. I might get the Deathadder Chroma tho, i always liked the Deathadder. Thanks again for your opinions
2016-04-28 03:14:42
Totally! I had a Intelli 3.0 too, LOVED overclocked pulling rates. The Deathadder Chroma is certainly a fan favorite. Since you're a hybrid user, it's actually a good pickup! Plus, the RGB on Razer stuff is my personal favorite. Good luck dude :)
2016-04-28 03:54:20
Thanks mate, your opinions were helpful. For mouse i'll probably end up with DA Chroma, same as you, i like the illumination of it :)
2016-04-28 03:57:13
I still use that actually, love it. But I'd say a Zowie FK2 or Deathadder Chroma are best. Your choice.
2016-04-29 06:48:04
I can confirm, g303. I had the deathadder, roccat kone pure, and mionix avior and the g303 is my favorite out of them all.

Can also confirm on the k70. I love mine.

Headset: I would roll with the HyperX or the QPad QH90. Essentially the same headset, hyperx is cheaper and provides more bass.
2016-04-29 06:56:41
do you know if the cloud 2 is worth it or should i just get the original cloud headset?
2016-05-02 17:42:08
I couldn't really tell you with the Cloud and Cloud 2. I have not used the HyperX, I use the QPad. But HyperX copied everything about the QPad and just gave it more bass from what I know.
2016-05-02 21:31:16
Considering your past preferences and the fact you said you have quite large hands; Zowie EC1-A, hands down. It's really close to deathadder with the exception of fitting my large-ish hands better (~20.5cm from bottom of my palm to furthest fingertip, ~10cm palm width without my thumb). Optionally EC2-A is the same but slightly smaller by few millimeters from each direction.
2016-05-07 14:30:56
Thanks for the reply dude, but i already got a DA Chroma. Its great so far, perfect comfort for me and impeccable ingame performance.
2016-05-07 15:10:15
Glad to hear. Not saying DA is bad, but it wasn't quite spot on for me. We're all individuals though. :)
2016-05-07 15:49:39
Indeed. I liked DA way earlier while i was playing 1.6, i'm really glad that i picked this one.
2016-05-07 18:12:48
imo

mouse: g402

headset : siberia v3

keyboard: roccat rgb

a cheap high quality set

I dont like that extra buttons around the mouse 1 on the G402, however i might consider siberia v3, ive always liked the siberia headsets. Thanks
2016-04-28 03:28:21
if you really dont like them you can unbind them in the software

(i guess i dont mind it cuz i have small hands)
2016-04-28 03:31:07
Headset: Sennheiser Game One

Keyboard: Corsair k65 tkl

Mouse: Zowie EC1/2-a

2016-04-28 03:42:26
Thanks for the opinion, but whats the difference between game one and game zero of Sennheiser?
2016-04-28 04:06:20
the game ONE is open back and the game ZERO is closed bad, now I'm to tired to explain it but you should do researches on it.

pro tip: gor for the game ONE
2016-04-28 04:15:51
You explained enough, i have perspective on what that means. Thanks mate
2016-04-28 04:29:42
well a pro tip would be go for ZERO, since you really can't use ONE on LAN effectively...
2016-04-29 09:50:39
there is one more difference, game zero are collapsible
2016-04-29 05:57:23
Headset: Sennheiser Game Zero or Hyper x Cloud 1 or 2(Usb)

Keyboard: Logitech G610

Mouse: Steel series Rival/Sensei or Zowie EC2 A

Hope you find what you're looking for :)
2016-04-28 03:45:53
Thanks, ill look into G610, it looks pretty basic tho
2016-04-28 07:54:59

I use the m50x's, FK2, and K70.

I don't think I will ever use another keyboard other than the k70. Holy fucking christ the build quality is amazing. I cannot stand anything other than it now. It's brushed aluminum I believe. I have the blue switches, and they work great for CS:GO. If you haven't gone mechanical, oh boy do you have a pleasant surprise waiting for you. The Black Widow is a steaming pile of fermented shit in comparison, as is every other keyboard in comparison. I could not recommend this more.

11/10 Keyboard ruined all other keyboards

Mouse is more down to preference, but all of the Zowie mice are top notch. The SS Rival is great too, but it's much bigger so it will depend on what you like. Do some research between the FK, ZA-12, and EC2-a. All are great. I love my FK2; best mouse i've ever had. If you have an average or bigger hand, I would suggest the FK1. I thought I had small hands, well, I was wrong, and the FK2 is a tiny bit cramped, but still great nonetheless. The only difference between the two is size, by the way.

Hope this helped (:

2016-04-28 04:18:50
Thanks man, Ill research about these mouses
2016-04-28 04:48:23
you made good choice with the DA chroma
2016-05-02 20:41:46
Yes its awesome
2016-05-02 23:24:44
This is definitely below your price range but
Headset: Logitech g450
I used to use the 300$ Astro a40s/ PC turtle beaches and switched to these once they broke, literally the same sound quality and a MUCH better mic for 240$ less

Keyboard: I'm not one for fancy keyboards anymore so I bought 6gV2 and it's the best keyboard I ever had, shits tough as a tank, liked it much better than the razer ultimate I used to have

Mouse: zowie series, I've used razer and mad catz and I can confidently say zowie feels much more comfortable than most brands imo
2016-04-28 04:33:17
Ill look into G450, thanks
2016-04-28 05:59:16
Np, welcome back!
2016-04-28 06:53:10
I had them 3 months ago, and the broke without me doing anything wrong...
2016-05-03 14:43:49
how the fuck u managed to broke them, they are really good quality
2016-05-03 21:10:24
Mouse: personal preference, just choose one with little or no positive/negative acceleration, no cursor prediction is good too. I'm using a MS 1.1 at the moment.

Keyboard: go for a mechanical keyboard, once again, the switch is about personal preference, I like the Cherry MX red switches. Note: every membrane keyboard is equally BAD.

Headset: just don't buy anything with "5.1" or "7.1" written in its package, run away from "gaming" headphones aswell. Try good companies like Sennheiser, AKG, Shure...

Mousepad: there's no secret here, they are all the same, just a pice of cloth, stick to the one you feel you like the most.
2016-04-28 04:53:32
Yes i dont like membrane keyboard, especially not for CS since you need precise movements. Thanks for you opinion
2016-04-28 06:01:54
uh buy Headphones in the 150-300/$ Range... and not shitty GAMERLEETSUPERHEADSHOT Headsets

thank me later
2016-04-28 04:56:50
I have Deathadder Chroma and i think its the best mouse ever. Its really good for my grip which i cant describe, and the sensor is flawless so far. So the Deathadder is a mouse to go. For headphones get something like cloud or razer kraken chroma
2016-04-28 05:04:35
Thanks for your insight, i really like the Deathadder
2016-04-28 07:04:25
Rival 300

Corsair k70

HyperX cloud

Cant go wrong with these
2016-04-28 06:36:08
This
2016-04-28 11:02:06
Im thinking about Corsair k70 RGB, it really looks great and i've seen good feedback about it
2016-04-28 11:54:38
You cant be wrong with it, its awesome
2016-04-29 07:30:15
I made my mind, ill get the corsair k70. Im still thinking about the mouse and headsets.
2016-04-29 08:53:14
you've made good choice mate
2016-05-02 18:10:21
Best combo indeed
2016-04-29 01:09:16
lol u need dac and amp for headphones

so many gamer noobs sad to see poor people
2016-04-28 06:40:42
Mouse: Razer Deathadder (The best gaming mouse 10/10)
Headset: HyperX Cloud 2 (I have Razer Kraken 7.1 but I'm not too satisfied with it, it's decent but I bet HyperX is better)
Keyboard: Corsair K70/Razer BlackWidow (I would give a slight edge to k70, since it has better switches)
2016-04-28 07:23:15
Thanks for this. Ill probably get the Deathadder, i like it very much. Can you tell me what is bad on the Kraken tho? I looked into them and they seem ok, at least the design
2016-04-28 08:14:47
The design is beautiful as fuck, the sound is really good but I bet that Cloud 2 has better, the mic is flawless, for the price of the headset, i would say the best mic out there. And one thing you'll notice at first (if you buy the headset, ofc) is that it's really uncomfortable but after adjusting the size and wearing it for couple of days it will fit perfectly
2016-04-28 14:54:09
Thanks mate
2016-04-28 21:35:38
The quality of the sound on the kraken is pure shit
2016-04-29 11:16:21
I'm actually surprised, that hltv guys gave you normal advices, not troll
2016-04-28 07:44:00
lol? what do you expected? you expected that everyone adviced dildos to play cs?!
2016-04-28 08:05:04
Lmao
2016-04-28 08:53:25
keyboard:Steelseries 6gv2
Headset:hyperx cloud v1/v2
mouse:Steelseries rival 300
2016-04-28 08:09:20
Can you tell me whats the difference between the Cloud 1 and 2? Is it literally just the Surround sound?
2016-04-28 10:09:01
v2 has a bit better mic and 7.1 surround sound
2016-04-28 10:09:26
Thanks mate
2016-04-28 10:54:13
Don't buy "gaming" headphones like Hyperx, SS or other shit. It's waste of money - shit quality and overpriced. Better go with Superlux or sth like that.

For keyboard SS 6gv2 da best and mouse choose one of Zowie depending on grip.
2016-04-28 08:10:39
People are often pleased with the HyperX and Sennheiser, as far as i can tell
2016-04-28 09:54:02
because they don't know better. That's why people buy beats headphones and 7.1 headsets.
2016-04-28 14:24:17
just dont by razer and you are good
2016-04-28 08:36:13
Why not to buy razer? Im interested in Deathadder Chroma, looks nice and people say that its great
2016-04-28 08:47:15
He's baiting, deathadder is easily the best mouse for cs:go
2016-04-28 14:55:46
i dont agree. its good but razer tends to do shitty products with a high price. id brefer zowie mice over razer all day.
2016-04-28 18:59:37
Yes probably Zowie are among the best, but you cant rule out the Deathadder i guess, it seems to be a great mouse
2016-04-28 21:45:04
DA is one of the greatest mouses atm but if u want to play without problems and sh1t like that better go for zowie they are really solid, razer is little overpriced for the quality. At the moment im using CMstorm Alcor, ive used DA (not chroma) g500s and g5(back in the dayz) For keyboard cm storm or logitech definitely (CSGO!!!!) headphones logitech or razer(others are overpriced for the quality) And also little bit conclusion, im playing cs series for around 10 years and i also have played some Lan tournaments(cs 1.6) and some online (csgo) Good luck.
2016-05-06 18:46:36
you were a 'semi-pro' in 1.6 and don't know that headphones/keyboard don't matter and mouse is a preference?

What a braindead.
2016-04-28 08:44:05
"Headphones don't matter". With this you killed yourself, obviously you know too much, sry. And yes, mouse is a prefference but there are new models with different sensors than my time, so im asking for suggestions. The difference between mouse is not just the design.
If headphones didn't matter we wouldn't give 150+ bucks so we can precisely hear shit in-game.
2016-04-28 08:51:19
I killed me? I don't get it, never heard of you in 1.6 once.. who knows maybe you were post 2007.
2016-04-28 09:13:58
Do you know what "semi-professional" means? I guess not. From where you are getting that negative energy to shit on other people posts, while you basically don't say anything which matters?

I guess you cant beat your complexes, i feel sorry for people like you. So stupid.
2016-04-28 09:17:44
If you just saw the other post that he is shitting to, its hilarious :D
2016-04-28 09:34:20
HAHA i know, i saw it
2016-04-28 09:41:53
G4ME ZERO/any new zowie or da chroma/keyboard doesnt matter actually, its the point which switches you prefer, backlight, tkl or full etc.

Headset: anyone of the hyerx clouds, or the Logitech g430

mouse: Is no best mouse per say. It's just whatever mouse is most comfortable to you. Unless you are talking about best sensor which is probably like fk2, deathadder, g502.

Keyboard: personally I like ducky keyboards (not just because it's an Asian company), ducky is really good, corsair is good, Logitech has some good keyboards. Basically all keyboards are the same because they all use the same switches. It's just up to you if you like it without numpad or you like lights etc.. for cs I would get red switches or brown.
2016-04-28 09:40:31
Thanks for your opinions, i will look into the ducky keyboards, since i first time hear of them
2016-04-28 09:52:29
Needed new headphones yesterday fast, bought the Logitech g430.
Really nice comfort but the built in usb soundcard sucked ass. I couldnt hear anything in game. So i switched to 3.5 mm plugs and it works much better.

Anyway, for the price i feel they are worth the cash.

I had a pair of Razer Kraken Pro 7.1, but i trashed them while drunk.
2016-04-28 09:49:16
I feel that i can get something better than the G430. They are good i guess but im willing to invest a bit more, so i can be pleased and use my headsets for years
2016-04-28 10:03:13
I dont play that much so for me it´s whatever. And i seam to always destroy all my gear. Better destroy something cheap :)
2016-04-28 10:28:54
razer pack
2016-04-28 09:51:49
just go for razer da chroma and get qck heavy with it its perfect match, and for the headset choose beetwen cloud or logitech g430 :)
2016-04-28 10:10:03
Yes i already have QCK Heavy, so it would be great with a Deathadder on top of it :)
2016-04-28 10:25:15

Decent review by dazed.
2016-04-28 10:35:39
Thanks, this could be helpful
2016-04-28 10:42:08
I had Zowie ec1-a and the mouse 1 click started to double click after 2 months of use. I dont know if its just in my case but it was bad experience. I bought Deathadder Chroma and im satisfied with it a lot, it feels great and it fits me.

For headset you should get something like Sennheiser PC 363D, and keyboard is all about preference, altho my favorite is Tesoro Durandal. Gl and welcome back
2016-04-28 12:24:06
Headset: HyperX Cloud II
Mouse: Zowie EC2-A
Keyboard: Corsair K70

/close
2016-04-28 12:28:52
DeathAdder Chroma is a great mouse however could be a bit of a big mouse for some.
2016-04-28 14:10:26
Best mouse is definetly the Finalmouse Scream One, same shape as deathadder kind of, very average size, fits all. Great sensor like DA.

Headset hyperx cloud 2 or any 7.1 headset.

keyboard: Ducky shine 3

And dont listen to these guys, dont buy zowie. They are old mices Da is 10x better

Post edited 2016-04-28 14:27:00
2016-04-28 14:25:44
Actually Finalmouse has better sensor than the DA, and the Zowie EC1-A / EC2-A series are not old, and they have one of the best sensors on the market
2016-04-28 21:30:50
Thanks, ill look into the Finalmouse
2016-04-28 22:16:56
Rip myself
2016-06-04 15:08:49
Sennheiser Game Zero/One depending on your environment. The open back versions have a marginally better soundstage. I use them with virtual surround from a sound blaster z and it's great.

Any mechanical keyboard really. I use a ducky shine 4 with cherry mx greens.

I recommend the G303 over anything else. Very light, arguably the best sensor on the market, drivers not required, braided cable, low click latency. Great mouse for CSGO.
2016-04-28 15:02:19
Thanks for your opinions, i wouldn't go for G303 though, i see that it has very odd shape which would be an issue to me. I believe G303 is for pure law grip, my grip is kinda hybrid one.

The difference between Game Zero and Game One is just the closed/open design?
2016-04-28 22:02:19
I wasn't sure about the G303 either, but it's surprisingly comfy and I use a kind of hybrid/palm grip too.

And yeah the Game ones and zeros, one is closed for noise cancelling, but if you play in a quiet environment the open back set provide slightly better positional audio.
2016-05-03 14:32:00
for headset just get cloud/cloud2s/game zeros. keyboard doesnt really matter, if you wanna go mechanical, reds should be best for fps. I have browns, works good, but i've tried reds, they're really fast and feel good. for mouse i'd recommend zowie line. fk1/2 for claw, za11/12 for palm grip (if you prefer ambidextrous) and ec-2 for any kind of hybrid grip (ec-1 if you have above ~19cm hand)
2016-04-28 21:40:30
I've seen some posts about different kind of switches, and i think i would prefer the browns. Since you are playing with them, are they providing nice feedback, and are they too loud? I've red that the blue ones are loud as F
2016-04-28 22:11:35
browns are loud too, for gaming you should go for the reds
2016-08-23 07:19:19
Headphone:
Sennheiser HD598
Audio-Technica ATH-M50X

Buy external mic
2016-04-28 22:23:30
They both dont have a mic?
2016-04-28 22:38:53
Thats why I said "buy an external mic". They are one of the best sounding headphones and beat almost any 'gaming headset'.
2016-04-29 01:21:37
Thanks this is useful, ill look into them for sure
2016-04-29 01:27:43
the 598's will sound coniderably better than the m50s. Unless you need sound isolation getting open headphones will give you better sound and a better soundstage.
2016-04-29 05:17:19
Well i dont believe i need that much of sound isolation, i might end up either with Sennheiser Game One (i believe they are the open back ones), or the HD598 and will get a decent mic
2016-04-29 05:27:57
the 598s are by far better sounding than any headset on the market, please dont get lured in by marketing for gamer headsets.
2016-05-01 00:46:52
I already bought Sennheiser Game Zero, pretty satisfied. Thank you for your opinion anyway
2016-05-01 22:24:30
sad to hear that, but you can always get something new a few years
2016-05-07 04:48:20
Just get deathadder chroma or Sensei, Game zero, and tesoro durandal esport edition
2016-04-29 00:16:15
Probably DA chroma and game zero, yes. About the keyboard i have Corsair k70 in mind, but ill check the tesoro
2016-04-29 23:53:47
Tesoro durandal is great man, i have it and im pretty satisfied with it
2016-04-30 00:18:04
another great one that ive used is the blackwidow ultimate, but its old one
2016-04-30 01:13:35
Yes i know the blackwidow, but i dont like the quality of the build
2016-04-30 01:23:22
its not that bad imo, but yes it is plastic
2016-05-02 17:51:09
btw there is new razer blackwidow X, which is similar to corsair k70 in the build quality
2016-05-03 17:17:59
hey man get Steelseries Rival mouse, great for medium/large hands, as for keyboard any mechanical will work just fine, just look for the ms on it, one with fast reaction, and for headset really for me it dosent matter to be honest, i play just aswell with iphone earplugs as with my 320$ turtle beach, and my razer headset, anything with a decent sound will work
2016-04-29 00:21:16
Thanks mate. I believe all mechanical keyboard have 1ms response time if im not mistaken
2016-04-29 01:38:48
you're willing to spend more in a keyboard then a mouse?

just reading that hurt my feelings ;c
2016-04-29 02:10:51
well last time i checked there were none mouse above 70$ :D
2016-04-29 02:19:17
if im not mistaken razer and ss had quite some mice over 100$
even tought its probably special editions

my point is, are keyboards even relevant? im playing with a 10 year old keyboard that came for free with a cheap compaq computer, with short keys and spilled maybe liters of liquids by now inside and its still perfect function, when i go to friends houses and play with those super expensive colorfoul keyboards i notice no difference at all
2016-04-29 02:25:35
Keyboard is relevant BIG time in CSGO, when i played with membrane keyboard i couldnt tell the difference, but when i switched to corsair k70 before 2 months, i would never go back to membrane one. I can tell the difference when peaking angles, it makes so damn huge difference to me
2016-04-29 02:27:24
well maybe there is, i wouldnt pay more then 50 for a keyboard but thats me i dont work and such

oh and btw if you still care for my sugestion, i would say shape> everything

so ill leave you with the best mice i can remember and then you go to a shop grab them and see what feels best

g303 (and some other logitchet mice)
pretty much all zowie mice
ss rival's/ sensei
final mouse
razer abyssus

and there are some other that i cant remember i would recommend checking out a guy called "rocket jump ninja" on youtube the dude does amazing reviews of mice, but overall please remember this SHAPE>>>>everything else, especially for fingertip users
2016-04-29 02:31:45
Thanks for opinions mate. I actually agree with bradR about importance of the keyboard in csgo, i think that it would be much better to play on mechanical one than the usual ones. Ill look into the overviews of that guy
2016-04-29 03:06:23
Senheiser game zero
2016-04-29 02:49:45
all headsets are terrible compared to what you can get for the same price via buying headphones an a mic.
2016-04-29 05:15:40
+1
2016-04-29 07:34:07
headset: senheiser game zero
mouse: Zowie FK1/ ec2-a
keyboard: cm storm quickfire brown switches
2016-04-29 06:57:00
headset: senheiser
mouse: ec1-a
keyboard 6gv2
2016-04-29 07:04:49
6gv2 with red switches could work indeed
2016-04-29 08:29:21
I bought HyperX Cloud II before 1 week and im pretty satisfied so far
2016-04-29 08:00:32
i want to give you a hint... not significantly but the shape of deathadder chroma is SLIGHTLY different than old deathadder... a little bigger, you will notice it, but still it is a great mouse
2016-04-29 10:19:55
That is actually good for me, i have big hands, thanks
2016-04-29 23:38:36
Zowie is probably the best mouse. If u have large hands such as i, the rival 300 is good. I have the rival, and the only think i dont like ist the ergonomics of it. its good size, but the feel of it isnt that good, at least for me.

Deathadder or Zowie is the ones u should buy.

For keyboard: Qpad and xtrfy makes great keyboards.

Headset: Sennheiser is quality. Or, you can buy astros, but it's hardly worth it.
2016-04-29 11:28:21
I feel the same, i should get the Deathadder chroma instead of Rival 300
2016-04-29 12:57:59
deathadder all the way
2016-04-29 22:04:44
Indeed, rival shape seems a bit weird to me, from what i've seen from review, it has quite odd big ass. I never had it, but ill probably end up getting Deathadder Chroma (since Zowie Ec1-A is unavailable), and Cloud II or Sennheiser Game zero.

For keyboard its sure the Corsair K70 RGB, i've seen great things about it and it looks pretty awesome

That is great choice, gl
2016-05-03 04:18:44
That is basically the best setup you can get
2016-05-04 03:07:28
no its not, my setup is the best
2016-05-19 05:21:54
Corsair keyboards are pretty solid, I have a k65 laying around somewhere, theyre built well. the k70 rgb youre set on looks like a good choice.

As far as audio, I would suggest the hyper x cloud series if you're looking for a "gaming" headset (mic is detachable, less worry about it breaking like fold up mics.) Best build quality for the price. But also, as others have stated, it would also be a good choice to get a decent pair of regular headphones (beyerdynamic, sennheiser hd, audio technica, etc) with an external mic if you get the sound card or amp for them. Truly not really a fan of the Sennheiser G4ME series as they are just repurposed HD380's with a mic, and in my opinion, look cheaper in quality because of that. Closed vs Open is really based on how much sound youre trying to drown out in the background. I prefer closed as it leaks less sound if people are around me. "Gaming" headsets are convenient as they usually come with a usb sound card attached, but know that 7.1 and all that jazz doesn't matter at all for games.

Mouse = Razer Deathadder Chroma would be nice with your RGB keyboard, but the Zowie EC series is also excellent, especially since you can physically adjust your mouse dpi/polling settings on the bottom & not have to use any drivers.

2016-05-05 15:26:59
HyperX Cloud II
Zowie FK1

best mouse & headset IMO for cs
2016-05-05 18:31:29

Headset -
HyperX Cloud 1

The cloud 1 just got marked down and the cloud 2 is buggy and it's surround sound which is useless for CSGO, therefore it's more money for less of an experience.

Mouse -
Anything Zowie/SteelSeries Rival 300
Zowie is super good and well known to be a world class mouse, Steelseries is just an old name that's very trusted in the ESports community.

Keyboard -
Corsair K70/K75/K60
Why would you get anything else?

Just realized you found a pair of equipment already, I got rekt.

Cloud II has way better mic tho
2016-05-07 03:01:35
indeed, way better mic
2016-05-07 06:11:05
yeah but the cloud 2 makes alot of audio errors if you use the surround sound
2016-05-07 14:16:49
If you have shitty audio card probably
2016-05-08 00:34:38
hahaha, anyway thanks for the thoughts! :D
2016-05-07 03:22:50
You could add up DA Chroma there, also top notch mouse
2016-05-07 05:53:46
no it sucks
2016-05-17 20:00:55
I wouldn't recommend getting a headset and just getting headphones and a mic separately, the "gaming" headsets are always overpriced. You get way better sound and certainly mic quality from separate headphones and a mic.

If you insist on getting headphones I always heard the Cloud II's were pretty good. Maybe the newer Cloud Revolver lives up to that name.
2016-05-08 00:54:24
whatever you end up getting, don't get Razer shit. they're just too bad.

as far as recommending hardware, mouse -> get a Logitech G402 (it's basically the same shape as the G400, but with added features and what not), or a Zowie. do not get gaming headsets, get a good pair of headphones and get a separate microphone. as for the keyboard, get what you want, its usually the peripheral that has the least impact in cs... If you can get your hands on one, get the CM Storm QuickFire or something similar.

Headset: AKG 240
Keyboard: 5$ Chicony mech keyboard with ALPS switches and NKRO

Total setup cost is less than 50$, wouldn't switch over anything, even if I was sponsored by SS/Razer/Zowie

Hello. I opt for headphones cs go. The choice is between Kingston HyperX Cloud and SENNHEISER PC151. Price HyperX Cloud $ 90, the price is $ 50 PC151. Should I pay extra for HyperX Cloud?

I use
headset - HyperX Cloud II and there is literally nothing I can complain about. Not a single thing yet and I am being completely honest. I have been treating them like shit cause I am a dickhead, and they still work like a charm for more than a year now. Perfect sound, comfortable like a pillow.

the mouse - Razer Deathadder Chroma - yeah, I know, I got brand-baited and bought a Razer. There seems to be a lot of people having issues with Razer equipment but the mouse has been working with no problems at all for about a year and a half now. The rubber thingy on its side is super nice and the mouse does not slip at all. It is comfortable to use for hours straight and fits my hand perfectly. The lighting is a nice little bonus. I will buy another one after this one dies since I am really really satisfied with it.

The keyboard and the mousepad are a different story. I bought a Razer Blackwidow Chroma half a year ago, and it already does weird things, like when I press lets say D letter, it writes "DD". Doesn't happen every time, but it happens very very often. E, D, K, and U letters the most - which doesnt make much sense to me either, why just those. Its a nice keyboard and stuff, but this really makes me mad sometimes. The bad thing is shops in my country take ages to replace it, and most of the time they even don't. And I really don't want to spend a month waiting for a fix which then doesn't come. Will buy some mechanical Logitech next time, I guess.
The mousepad I have not much to say about, I use Razer Goliathus Large Speed - its just slippery, moves no matter what surface you put it on and is not really comfortable as your hand slides on it when moving your mouse. Will get a Steelseries QCK soon.
2016-05-13 02:05:58
Thanks for your thoughts from experience mate, but I've already got my gear like 2-3 weeks ago. I got Sennheiser Game Zero, Deathadder Chroma and Corsair k70 RGB.

So far, I'm amazed by all of them, especially the GAME ZERO. The sound is just AMAZING in every aspect literally.

Also, I've seen some people complaining about the DA Chroma quality, but i had ultimate confidence in this one, and so far its really great. Probably the top2 mouse out there.

And for the Blackwidow, i didn't liked it because it has plastic frame and is cheap on the look. I guess like you said, it has not so much quality too. Im really satisfied with the Corsair k70 though. Cheers mate
2016-05-14 00:54:07
Optical mouse FTW, find one who fits ur hand
Mechanical keyboard with the switches you prefer and a surround headset is mandatory
2016-05-14 22:40:20
optical mouse suck laser mouse is better because its laser ofc
2016-05-15 01:52:05
are u fucking serious?

Deathadder chroma

Blackwidow chroma
2016-05-20 19:08:40
i also decided to buy a deathadder chroma today, and its the best mouse ive ever had, simply amazing.

previous mouses:
mx518 (mouse button broke after ~6 years)
cm storm alcor (mousebutton broke after less than a year..)
zowie ZA13 (didnt like shape & scroll-wheel)

DA chroma is perfect

compared to mx518 its decent but compared to good steelseries mouse i arent agree with you
2016-05-29 19:14:54
headset: definitely Sennheiser g4me zero or sennheiser g4me one
or if you want cheaper one sennheiser PC 330
2016-05-29 19:12:31
i had pc 330 and they broke for 3 months
2016-05-30 14:44:25
if you have a little bit more money and listen to high quality music (320 up to lossless), I'd recommend the HD600 (400) and a good amp or an amp / DAC combo for ~100-300. Great investment which will last you for 10+ years if taken good enough care of.
2016-05-30 16:19:25
Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow
Mouse: Razer Naga
Headset: steelseries Siberia prism

2001 IBM mouse and a Xbox 360 headset.

lol
2016-06-05 10:36:49
Mouse - Deathadder Chroma
Headset - Logitech G430
Keyboard - pretty much any steel series / corsair mechanical keyboard. I have a black widow ultimate but would not recommend it because 4-5 of
my keys will randomly double tap and it's such a nuisance.
2016-06-04 14:57:23
Mouse - DA Chroma
Keyboard - BW Chroma
Headset - Kraken Chroma
2016-06-05 10:41:28
Mouse - Rapoo V300
Keyboard - SteelSeries 6Gv2
Headset - Sennheiser PC 151
2016-06-05 12:46:55
dfuq is rapoo v300? first time hear
2016-06-07 02:13:58
wow this looks very good
2016-06-07 23:47:38
For the mouse i would use a zowie ec1-a for larger hands or a ec2-a for normal hands:D in my view zowie got the best mice atm. I just have got a rival and now i swapped to a ec2-a and i can definetly tell u that it's way better than the rival.

Keyboard i got a 6gv2 from steelseries. Nothing special, simple mechanical keyboard.

Headset i got the steelseries 9h which is very good in my view because of the software, sound is great and the mic is great too:)
2016-06-07 04:22:19
I'd suggest the Final Mouse brand as I currently use the Final mouse 2015 and have done for ages and it still works great
2016-06-07 04:25:27
Sensei
Logitech g800
Gskill Ripjaws mechanical
2016-06-12 03:27:37
I personally am thinking about this headset:
http://www.gainbestgames.com/steelseries-siberia-v..

and this keyboard:
http://www.gainbestgames.com/razer-deathstalker-ul..

what do u think?
2016-06-26 23:35:31
Hyperx cloud two is the best headset imo. Quality is great, mic is near perfect (doesn't have static or record background noise) and is super comfortable.

Final mouse is the best mouse I've ever had. I've had the Razer death adder, rather nags, and many others and the final mouse has been the most comfortable and best so far

People are gonna hate me for this but I love my Razer black widow stealth tourney edition. It makes less noise and takes less pressure to press and it doesn't have a keypad which gives me more space for my mousepad and such.
2016-06-27 18:32:57
The new HyperX Revolver headsets are pretty awesome and good quality
2016-08-19 06:06:42
They are good but there is no reason for getting them over the cloud 2
2016-11-04 01:12:58
Wouldnt say so, their design is awesome
2016-12-05 18:17:15
I don't understand why people invest 100$ into a keyboard, I got an old simple one, it's more than 10 years old and still working fine
2016-08-23 07:28:56
When you try mechanical gaming keyboard, you'll understand believe me
2016-08-23 08:26:30
An old mechanical can (easily) be modded from non-linear into linear mechanical (or just left as non-linear if that's the preferred type of switch, obviously) that works out JUST as well as the gaming-branded ones. It's just less appealing aesthetically and will lack any embedded macro capabilities though, if that's something needed. Macros can be solved through other software (AHK etc) if absolutely necessary.

Just saying, I bought the K70 because I wanted the looks, the macros (if I happen to need them, which isn't very likely though) and such. But the old mechanicals are not bad by any means, probably more bang for the buck if anything.

Mouse: DA Chroma
Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB

Got me to GE in 3 hours. Ez pz.
2016-11-12 02:53:06
Best headset: ADG1
Best for your budget:
1.ATH-AD700(X) + modmic (open)
2. HD598 + modmic (open)
3. Game One (open)
4. Game Zero (closed)

Mouse: Preference, I'd look into Zowie EC, ZA and FK series

Keyboard: Purely preference

I think that ZA has click delay issues, or they fixed it?
2016-12-29 02:14:20
Buy a pair of good headphones and either a modmic or a simple usb desktop mic. The quality of your sound will be way higher. Personally I use Sony MDR-100AP, amazing quality. You'll hear details in music and games youve never heard before.
2017-01-07 20:57:17
What gear u should get ? Aimlock with offset is quite on top
2017-01-09 03:52:33
Cloud 1 or 2
K70 or ss 6gv2
Zowie fk series or za series.
