Does RInput is being used by every of the proplayers? (:

And on the events, does it is already installed on the machines?

Thanks! :)

yea , the majority of progamers use this tool,it's perfect .. especially that it can run on any OS ( i use it btw )
2012-04-17 00:20:08

Please...
2012-04-17 01:49:36
what ? Isn't rinput made especially for the random w7 accel ?
2012-04-17 01:59:38
RInput = all OS
The MarkC Windows 7 Mouse Acceleration Fix = 4 windows 7
2012-04-17 02:09:16
MarkC mousefix is for XP too.
2012-04-17 11:52:52
hmmm yes maybe ... same thing about CPL mouse fix ...basically used for XP ... and I used it for windows 7
2012-04-17 12:13:30
Not maybe but YES, and CPL mousefix on Windows 7 is bad solution.

You need to read more:
What about CPL Mousefix?

The CPL Mouse Fix has problems, WHEN the 'Enhance pointer precision' checkbox is ON (or your game forces it on), which include:
Not an exact 1:1 mapping of mouse movement to pointer movement.
At refresh rates < 80 Hz, it moves the mouse pointer < 1 pixel for each mouse count sent, which causes bizzare wobbling and slowdown if moving the mouse slowly right and down.
At refresh rates > 80 Hz, it moves the mouse pointer > 1 pixel for each mouse count sent, which causes bizzare wobbling and speedup if moving the mouse slowly left and up.
At any refresh rate, moving the mouse slowly in small circles causes the pointer to move up and left slowly.

The Cheese Mousefix (XP and Vista) and MarkC Mousefix (Windows 7) do not have these problems.

In which way is that related to your message regarding XP?
2012-04-17 02:36:28
it also removes part of many mouses random negative accel that appears on low DPIs and fast swipes, as far as i have understood ( that has nothing to do with OS )

It affects your hardware ? wow Oo
2012-04-17 16:37:45
Realy ... ?
no srsly, any system has an acceleration,so if you don't feel any acceleration of mouse and you don't use any tool = Good 4 u then :)
2012-04-17 02:07:59
Fixed: theres no RANDOM acceleration on XP...

you know if any top players play with rinput ? like moddii get right .. ?
2012-04-17 00:25:36
GTR dont using, dont know about moddii
2012-04-17 01:38:21
Troubley does.
2012-04-17 13:36:25
ESC Gaming and Fnatic uses Rinput
2012-04-17 00:49:02
Maybe yes, but only in home/bootcamp.
2012-04-17 11:54:05
im pretty sure they can use it on NON BYOC events as well, as it don´t gives a direct advance, but only removes a bug ingame. Its really just like mousefix in XP
2012-04-17 12:03:57
You don't know it, all 3rd party apllications are forbidden on prestige events.
2012-04-17 12:05:25
Just talked to a mate. At IEM Finals they were allowed to use it on tournament computers, admins even pre installed it.
2012-04-17 13:10:04
I see, thanks for information.

2012-04-17 00:50:33
I was talking with pasha on facebook, he approve that they using rinput
Same with Carn on streams many times saying that He and his mates using rinput

Or look last Xizt blog on fnatic site, He wrote that He uses -noforcemparms -noforcemspd commands +Rinput

MY BAD,
-noforcemparms -noforcemaccel +Rinput

not 'spd

:)
2012-04-17 14:06:15
fallen also use
2012-04-17 03:05:55
I think they can't use RInput on events bu in home/bootcamps it's possible that they use it.
2012-04-17 11:55:43
I do not use Rinput. I always used markC mousefix and this worked fine for me and so for many other players
2012-04-17 11:59:53
True, but RInput is good when you want to use more than 500dpi.

btw. Windows 7 + MarkC mousefix + -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel commands in launch options is enough.
2012-04-17 12:03:34
Yes, thats exactly what i have ^^.
And what you said about rinput is true, most players use it only when they are playing at 500 dpi or more. so with 400dpi you should not even use it..
2012-04-17 12:09:11
wtf is markc mousefix? another than normal one?
2012-04-17 12:11:07
It's best mousefix for all windows because others like CPL, Cheese are only for XP.
2012-04-17 12:13:10
can u give a link for that one pls?
2012-04-17 12:26:16
mousefix = rinput ?
2012-04-17 12:10:27
Of course not.

so cant I use that on windows vista?
2012-04-17 12:25:30
Which one?
2012-04-17 12:27:19
rinput
2012-04-17 12:27:47
Of course you can use it, on all Windows.
2012-04-17 12:50:47
very good for windows 7. I know cArn used it too
2012-04-17 12:12:42
Used when he was playing on more than 500dpi.
2012-04-17 12:14:51
Yes, pro players use RInput. This also applies for NON-BYOC tournaments.
2012-04-17 12:18:37
Are you sure? :)

CHEATS
NO CHEATS ARE ALLOWED INCLUDING 3RD PARTY APPLICATIONS AND SCRIPTS. FOR EXAMPLE OGC, WH, AIMBOT ETC. ARE ILLEGAL (SEE THE SECTIONS ON SCRIPTS).

Ofcourse I'm sure. RInput has nothing to do with cheats, so that line isn't really relevant.
2012-04-17 17:16:19
I confirm, international tournaments allow RInput.
It's a very nice tool, just a shame that it messes up the menus in CS :[

-noforcemparms -noforcemspd commands +RInput => This is IMO useless, as RInput hooks hl.exe on the fly to catch WM_MOUSEMOVE method calls, and replaces them with WM_INPUT, then the noforce aren't needed at all.

Thats right.
2012-04-17 12:27:04
It is, and fnatic use it

And to all that think that -noforce or mousefix are the same I must say lol, just try it... raw is raw, windows makes a mess (windows 7 definitely most mess - and if you dont run only CS, windows 7 is logicall choice)
