Piranha 3D is just shit, not funny. All movie i were sitting with poker face tbh :x (except scene with naked girls :D).

And this "New scaries" are also not scary at all! I mean Shutter, The Woman in Black and 1408 (cool movie, but not scary).

I laughed my ass off due to the trash presented on screen when watching Piranha 3D :-)). And tbh. Shutter is pretty scary, unless you saw the american remake, which, again, but they do not seem to learn it, is the utterest bullshit I have ever seen, just like almost every remake they do. I think the rest is a matter of taste but that it is really hard to create a good scary horror-movie nowadays because almost everything has already been seen somewhere. Considering that fact, I think that 1408 and especially The Woman in Black are really well done and as such scary as well.

I laugh when someone writes about the best horror movies like "Saw" and "Friday 13" For me, this isnt scary but only massacre. Maybe im diffrent but for me films like "The Grudge" (japanese ofc) are TRU HORRORS. I watched this some years ago (6 maybe or even more) but when i see characters from this films today i cant sleep...
Srly. ppl. try to watch some japanese horrors and then write about "THE BEST HORRORS MOVIE"

You mistake the first saw-film with the follow-ups. The first one is an intense psychothriller if you ask me, the follow-ups are just for the sake of showing breaking bones, guts and as much blood as they can but have not really a connection to the first one although the characters are the same. But I must say that saw 2 to (I guess) 7?? pretty much ruined the first part for me :-/

of new horrors Woman in black was good. Midnight meat train was clasical slasher but is also good, exorcism of emily rose, exorcist 3, the rite, strangers, insidious, 4th kind, eden lake, paranormal acitivity 3 was scary shit, hostel again slasher but good made, frontiers (french one) also good, gravedancers, dark remains, dead silence also :)
I don't have favourite ones, but those were good and "scary" :).
