Top3 is Messi, Cr. Ronaldo, Falcao imho, RVP didn't win anything this year, he scored goals, but Falcao scored more important goals in a more important competition and phase of that competition, + he was awesome during the whole season, scoring a lot of goals.

players dont creat impact or remembered that much by great stats, they create far more impact and remembered by great performance when it matter most, Drogba delivers when matters most , even if overall not good stats, this performance in final evens out all the failures and people will allways remember this final. Its just a bonus if you happen to deliver like this and also have overall great stats, like persie messi zlatan ronaldo who is stable great impact players, but the difference is Drogba delivered in the Semi and the FInal in the biggest most prestigious club competion of the world.

is to me like ronaldo messi and co are grest maraton runners allways consistent and strong everytime, but drogba is 100m sprint king, just monstrous when matters most! its bad comparassion, but I dont know how explain how much impact such performance in semi and final of champions league creates:p

When looking back at football players in the leagues around the world, we will se players such as Henry, Sheva, Torres, Ibrahimavoc, Kaka and Nistelrooy, all these players have been gr8 in a long period, but didn't have the heard like Drogba, Zidane, Scholes and Buffon to stay at the top all seasons of their entier career. I would place Drogba in the top 4 attackers in PL long with Henry, Nistelrooy and Sherrer in my time!

But Sherrer (Blackburn) and Cantona (Leeds, Man UTD) ... it was virtually the same time =) and imo Cantona >>> Sherrer.

Drogba is one of the best attackers of his generation, that's for sure, but let's not forgest he also lost a UEFA Cup final in 2004 with Marseille (i'm a Marseille fan, and even tho he only stayed one year with Marseille, he carried the team by himself through the UEFA Final, losing 2 0 to FC.Valencia, and he was sold for economic reasons, even tho he kinda wanted to stay), a Champions League final in 2008, a African Cup final against Zambia in 2012, so yeah, i'm happy for him, he deserves this cup, but players such as Zidane, Buffon were way more successfull in their respective careers !

If Petr Cech wouldn't save that penalty Drogba would go from Hero to Zero in 10 minutes! Drogba was amazing yesterday but Ashley Cole with his heroic blocks and Petr Cech with some amazing saves were as much responsible for Chelsea lifting the cup as Drogba.

Btw you can't say Messi and Ronaldo don't deliver in big games, they both scored in numerous el clasicos and both scored in the final of Champions League and won it after that.

I don't like Bayern at all, but I still feel a little sorry fot them after the effort they put in and Chelsea coming back from the dead three times to take it away on their home stadium in front of their home fans.. Must be a sad day in Munich :(

Gratz to Drogba and Chelsea. Bayern dominated whole game, but Chelsea just played their 7-man defence and managed to win. Bayern failed penalties, totally. Most of men refused to kick and they had to use other players ex. Neuer (Still did great job:D:D Goalkeeper scores against other goalkeeper in penalty, so hilarious :D). Olic was the fresh men and he shouldnt had failed penalty. And Robben... Penalty in extra-time... I hope that Ribery killed him. Gratz again to Chelsea, but Bayern gameplay was more enjoyable than Chelsea:)
