maybe it's because you are using a frequency in launch optionjs higher than what your monitor can take, happened to me.

remove -freq command from launch settings and try again.

I have a CRT monitor. I always use 640x480 @ 120Hz.
But now - this shit happens. Refreshlock is off. I've already back my 296.10 driver but this shit still happen.

I've set up -freq 100 and it works! o___O
But.. what the hell - I always use 120!

Did you just uninstall the drivers or did you clean them too (using f.e. Driver Sweeper)?

Just uninstalled.
Okay, tomorrow I'll use driver sweeper and tell you the result.

This happens to me all the time when I use diferent CRTs on my computer. Follow this steps and you should be ok!

Be carefull still, cause this will force the refresh rate of your monitor to the frequency you want. If your monitor does not support the frequency dont blame me for any damage done.

make a custom resolution with your hertz in nvidia control panel

change monitor hertz , my monitor is 60 hertz , if i put freq 100 its windowed.. :@

I have problem with my Windows and tomorrow will reinstall. Later.

I've used Driver Sweeper, reinstall NVidia drivers sucessfull but.. nothing happened. I still get a small window of CS 1.6 on 120Hz. On 100Hz it runs fullscreen but only in the center of screen.

I've made a resolution 1152x864 @ 100Hz (CVT) myself in NVidia panel. Also tried GTF but it didn't help.

I am fuc%%ng dissapointed.

different frequency of your main windows and your cs ?

Windows - 100Hz.
CS - 100/120 - anyway, it will launch like "windowed mode".

Install monitor drivers.
