My Standalone server HLTV IP like "hltv2.localgames.net:27015"
I want to know how to create this type of ip address. for example : "hltv2.verygames.net:27096". I want to make this type of hltv ip address from my stand alone hlds.

I dont think so dat is possible. You need to have booking here to have access to such ips. Nevertheless wait for some one more experienced to post.

you need to buy a domain name for your ip address so that when anyone tries to enter an ip address it gets resolved to an ip. i am sure you cannot buy hltv domain :D

or try this go to your host file
%SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
try to add an entry for your ip
192.168.20.142 hltv2.localgames.net:27015
see if it works for your local, this is just an idea which came to my mind. even if it works for you, it surely wont work for people on your local LAN :D

# 117.194.11.123 hltv2.internetgames.net [ INTERNET ]
# 192.168.1.2 hltv1.localgames.net [ LAN ]

just to clarify

do you want the name to be a public name (so anyone can connect) or just so people on the same network as you can connect ?

if you want a fully public one, u will need to buy the domain of the name you want. If it's just for a network game, u can do a dodgy job which wont cost anything

for example, verygames.net

You can use a IP to url converter (roughly saying)
http://www.dynu.com/Default.aspx

no need 3rd party s/w installation. Good idea given by "nemesis"[hltv.org user]

%SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

just edit the host file. It works. :)

A redirector, just like #5, seems the only way as far as I see it in order to achieve or get close to what you want.
