Just wanted to know what you guy's think about the "jump" that pro players do to become a pro player, i know it contains a lot of dedication, time and will...
But I also want to try to understand what is the special kind of training that they use...
A lot of DM? A Lot of missionred? A Lot Of Pov's ? Probably that or more things..
Just give your opinion :)
Desire and passion, then comes efforts. However, if you don't have brain, you won't get anywhere. And don't push youself too hard, play maximumly 10 hours a day.
I'd like to offtop a little.
It's kinda sad cos many of them did quit school or at least don't give a shit about an education. All they do is about that game.
Those kids pwns in CS but can't speak/write at a decent level in their native language.
i know dude, somethings are freaking bad :/ but the it's the dream of a lot of people, just trying to know and to try to show to who want's to know some more about that =)
a lot of the pro players nowadays GIVE a shit about education....and a lot of them returned back to college after their pro career..so I'd not say they "quit" but they postpone school
Don't know how it is in poland so perhaps you're right about your country but I would say that the best CS players are smart ppl wich means they can write/speak at a decent level without any practice at all and on the quiting school part, they finish 9th grade and then they start their pro career (most of the time) and then they can start their school again later so they just spend some time doing what they love wich I admire that they do even if it doesnt pay enough money.
Agree with the most, but you should'n't complety drop school, you can continue to pass years without that much study.. And you still can dedicate most of time into cs...
Mistake- few pov... I really think you need a lot of pov's who want's this , needs game lecture and needs to lern from pro's... otherwise it will be hard for you to improve anything more than aim
also you should start playing by 16/17 years old at most. If you start older, you are screwed.
Only few povs means they are worth watching (neo, forest, get_right) only the biggest names, coz there is no time to loose.
Me, 15 year's old, playing since i was 10.. :)
But the true is that you can't advance too much in that age, but it gaved me something's that help's me now..
With my age, i'm i a good level i think...
Trust me dude, There is a limit for how much youll improve through dm/bot/pov view. Your aiming and movements will be better by 5 years, but if you compare it with how you are now,It wont be a big difference. You wont be a monster or such.
just play it at least 5hs per day (dm, mix gathers, watchin some pros povs) practice practice practice, kind of hard if you still studying.
(FUCKIN SCHOOL :D)
isn't 20 ms/ping enough :) ?
My fps never estabilize, i don't know why, but it rounds 80-100...
But things change, anyone can buy a new pc / grafic and get better fps..
I have awesome hardware, but the fucking fps never estabilize, my shot's are coming up nice, without lag, I give a lot of singles in DM , easyly.., the image iz nice, it look's like 100fps, and if it isn't it should be close, not less than 65-70 fps
No problem with smokes no breaks, 3 - 4 enemies no problem either, ofc in 4 or 5 smokes i can't see a fucking thing and the moves are a bit slower, but i really mean a BIT nothing that i can't handle and kill the guys if I can see them
Thanks, with a computer buyed in 2011 it would be stupid if I couldn't play cs with the best conditions xD
My holidays start tomorrow, no more test's, lets play :D
I got fps between 99-100, but I got USB iNet atm :( 50-80 ping to Germany, 50-70 to UK, 20-40 to Sweden (but still laggy :[) and 30-50 to Denmark.
I know a lot of guys play with a lot worse ping then that, but believe me, it's just like playing with 300 ping (yeah, I know how it feels, cause my net is so bad that I get random ping from 100-300 everyday ;[)
People, how can I estabilize my fps? So it can stay in the best they can do, but just stop, in 100 or 80 ou 70,,,, idk,, it's always oscilating, the minumum i saw was 50 and max 99/100... I Think it's good fps, and good net 30M,
Good Pc, if you have at least 60 fps i think you can play really well
you gotta be smart and see what works best for you, some people do little DM others need to do a lot
once you reach a certain level, your peak with a lot of hours of good training you dont need to practice that much, just practice hard when you need to be in good form
Watching POV's or demos isn't enough! Start playing with people who are way better than you! Practice with them until you can keep up to their level and so on! :P
The biggest jump in my opinion is the consistency, and most importantly knowledge, in other words CS IQ. I don't just mean knowing all your flashes, knowing all your spots, knowing the recoil, I mean the timing and predicting what your opponent can do. If they do x, y, z can you figure out what their next move is.
