You will NOT find an article that says, we haven't SELF CLAIMED our independence, and if you do so than that article is a lie.Because the Kosovo people have fought for their freedom, just like other states that were in Yugoslavia, and now they are states, and have their flags here in HLTV.ORG

self approved must be enough. many countries can't understand as they hadn't fight for their freedoms recently. hltv.org would be a nice example to be one of the first ones to approve Kosovo as country. don't wait the 'officials' cause politics do not represent people from regions like Serbia.

For all those who don`t know the situation , Kosovo is practically a country we have nothing in common with serbia , serbs have to show their passports in the border to come in , the only thing is that we aren`t UN members because of Russia veto and that`s all , I can understand hltv.org admins for hesitating but yet all us fought for freedom , for equal rights and if 95% of population in a region doesn`t want to live under the same roof (in the same time loosing a war against them 1998-1999) then there`s nothing you can do except accepting that fact , that`s hard to be understood by a person who lives in a high-developed country and has seen how a war goes on only on TV

Well, it's not that dificult huh? It has it's own government, parliament (and laws), judicial system. Declared independence from another country (like many countries in the world). In example, my country has independence from Spain since we declared independence in 1816 (it was self-governed since 1810), but it wasn't recognized by Spain until 1863, but we had commercial, political, and other relations with other countries without any intervetion from Spain before that.

Many football players born in Kosovo play under flags of different countries across Europe.
