1.6 the only CS version that i respect. CS GO isnt Counter-strike, its another shitty FPS game. IMO!

dont like the recoil and that you cant do mini steps and mini jumps to avoid awpers. besides that it isnt bad, atleast better than source but nothing can compare with cs 1.6, i think i wont buy csgo and rather play something else or maybe completly quit gaming (really think about doing that)

Im sure everyone would rather stay in CS 1.6, since its the ultimate game, but the thing is, that the sponsors and tournaments will move on to CS:GO. CS:GO will most likely feature in Extreme Masters next year, and probably also WCG.

If there's no sponsors and no tournaments, why would organizations pay their players salary? Why would players even play the game, if there's no tournaments?

Its a sad truth, but we gotta face facts. No matter how hard it hurts.

This is not a question you should be asking the players, but a question you should be asking tournament organisers.

The problem is that tournaments rely heavily on sponsors, and from a sponsors point of view, cs:go is much more attractive than 1.6 and source.

i disagree, 1.6 still alive first of all and still very attractive many HLTV viewers and many players.
Second CS:promod is much better , i mean CS:GO has a completely different Gameplay and that was just the ++point of CS the gameplay so i think IVE CS die's CS:Promod will be the game to play P.S CS:GO was very boring to watch ;x
