Help?
Hey guys :] I've been having a problem with my mouse for quite a long time now.
Here is the basic layout of the problem:
The mouse freezes every 2-10 seconds and the windows sound (the USB disconnecting sound like "Ta dam") is heard every time it freezes. This has been happening for about a month now and I don't think it's a virus as such, because, I decided to expirement a bit and noticed that when the keyboard and printer plugs are taken out (Only 2 other usb plugs) , The mouse works perfectly fine. Also the freezing happens only when I move the mouse. If it is not used, No windows disconnecting sound comes. If you need any other info about this prob please tell me here :))
P.S. I googled, No luck there . Searched a lot and got some solutions, out of which none worked FOR ME.

what polling rate do you use? maybe its too high for your usb ports to handle it

Its too low actually. 120hz , 7ms response :(

hmm ok then this should not be the problem if you have your mouse running on 120hz

I have the same problem with my IE 1.1 from some time now. I think that motherboard is the problem or power delivered to usb ports.I have tried to reinstall my win, download drivers etc. but no sucess so far.
Now when I want to play 1.6 I'm connecting my mouse to usb port but I'm pushing it not to the end, I mean when I'm sticking cable it's half of lenght in usb port just to connect, so my mouse is almost out. I have hope that you understood me.

srry for poor english skills. ;/

Windows 7? put selective usb interruption in the power saving settings off.

Yeah I tried that once. Do we have to reboot after changing it?
Last time I din reboot so I dunno if this might be the solution :)

Inside the mouse where the cable attaches to the mouse itself is damaged. You can replace the cord if you have a spare mouse you don't use any more, or re solder it back to the board.

I am 100% sure this the problem it happens to ALL mouse eventually. The problem is physical, no drivers or options or anything will fix it.

or re solder it back to the board. - Any instructions on how to do this?
