Stream: Twitch or Own3d?
Own3d is usually less laggy but Twitch have a chatbox for people to hop in and discuss games. Own3d's chat doesn't seem to be too popular.

What do you guys prefer?

twitch always seemed most professional to me, also - twitch has never been lagging for me.

Of course dude I totally agree twitch.tv always looks cool and it never lags which is a really good thing so definitely i'll go with Twitch on this one!

Own3D. You can't delay your live sendings with Twitch unless you do tons of things. @ own3d you can just edit it in your livestream settings. that's what kept me from twitch

Well, I stopped with it at one point since people didn't really watch it and no one ever complained, so i thought there was no reason to have unneccessary lag. But they started to again (xD), so I started to stream again a week ago, but haven't been playing much lately. But @ www.own3d.tv/zaider when I am streaming :) btw you cant see it on the hltv livestreams so :p

That's an important factor. What resolution do you stream at? Most of the overlays do not work with 1920x1080 so I have to capture at 1280x720 and stream at 960x540.

I've been streaming through Own3D but find it hogging a lot of space with the chat. Are you aware of any tweaks that could help me embed the chat next to the stream window, like in Twitch's case?

Why don't you use Youtube ?

They provide live streaming feature for there partners.

I prefer Own3d. Twitch.tv slows down my browser every time i watch stream on it. Sometimes my browser stops responding because of it :/
