You joguslavians are always sucha bad losers yha cheap bastards (haha!!) or what else (?) wipe tears and fall alseep again. Nadal was the better player "even" djoker admitted in his speech.
If it wouldnt starting to rain in the first place Nadal would have won with 3-0 in sets, first break and along with the rain clearly favoured Djokovic game (and you dont play in such conditions).
Rafa was right, they should have postponed game a bit in third set cuz it rained more than ever - the court was to heavy compared to normal clay condidtions.
Huge Deserved win for rafa, playing in the right and fairest clay condtitions with dry court and not soaked balls - none can even claim one set from him on clay (ecpesially) in Roland Garros if his 100% normally fit (not like 2009).
Djokovic chance was a rainsoaked court with wet and heavy balls and he knew it, and it even started to rain in todays game aswell but even then rafa wins. This game had like 4 seasons. Not the optimal conditions for rafa but he won anyway - so greatly deserved.
Was a sick game. Even in the final game, I was convinced that Djokovic would take it to the 5th and win overall. However, Nadal did play extremely well and like already mentioned, the Serb made way too many mistakes. Congratulations to Nadal, legendary win! Will we see an 8th?
It will come down to rafas motivation from the inner core of his own heart.
Who knows, even if i strongly doubt it this could have been his last RG-title, you never know - mb he can keep on like this to he is like 31-32 years old, who knows.
There was a time haters trying to convince others that rafa with such playstyle will be over as tennisplayer when his 25 or 26 (due to injuries etc etc), such statements are not going to well these days, huh (?).
As PeekZ stated, he already has had quite some trouble with his knees etc. If you compare his style with Roger Federer's, who almost never has injuries, you see that Nadal uses a lot more muscle and body power while Federer has an economic and balanced style.
Djokovic for example also having troubles with knees like year ago and longer back in time.
On this highest level, all got troubles, in every part of body, from time to time - more or less.
...and who said Nadals body wont handle his playstyle year after year (?) I got the answer, iz simple, its all the bad haters that envy him and dont wanna see him succes anymore.
Nadal will play and maintain his succes as long as he got the inner fire of motivation to keep on winning. If he got that to he is 28, 30 or 32 (?) - at this point nobody got a right answer for that. (only the selfproclaimed "experts" concerning rafa and his playstyle which are usually plain bad rafa haters)
all top 3 players are best. They understand each other's weaknesses so all 3 had their ups and downs when one dominated the other two.
Novak has experienced earlier defeats in his career and now understand their game so he is on top now.
Nadal was exceptional when he came into tennis, Roger was outrun most of the times. Novak was slow earlier and now has steadily progressed to match them and now is no.1
But when it comes to clay. Nadal is a hacker :D
