I can compare european football with Argentinian/Brazilian football, I guess there are at least 4 or 5 reasons any person could find out by himself. Starting with the Local leagues/teams. Pretty nice match. Portugal could have lost 3-2 and would still pass. But Portugal worked for the victory and got it.
The Netherlands has a good offensive side, but Robben in this Euro was just flop, same for Persie. The midfield didn't step up and the defense was horrible. I lost the count of the passes that went through the defense and put Ronaldo in front of the goalkeeper

Ok, to clear every opinion about whether Portugal was so good, they weren't. Just because we played SO BAD, Portugal actually looked good. And yeah ofcourse Ronaldo scored twice, look at our defence.
Yesterday the players told that there were some internal problems and because some of the players have such a big ego, everything went wrong this tournament. Oohh we made it to the final of the WC, now we can easily win the EC. And when Robben told van Marwijk to shut the hell up, I was soooooo angry about his attitude. How can a player tell his trainer to shut up? Really wtf. The only player who played well was Sneijder.
I hope that every player will look at himself and see what kind of failure they have managed to produce. This was BY FAR the worst performance I have ever seen from The Netherlands. Almost every team on this tournament played better than we did.
And the future isn't any good by the way. This generation is called our 3rd "golden" generation. But when these players are to old, like Van Persie etc. We have no source of talent whatsoever. I think this is the end of Dutch football. GG
