From my experience, Germany seems to be a pretty nice country. The language is somewhat weird but it's pretty similar to Dutch so I love it :D

Isn't that the same case in German? I never learned the German grammar like foreigners did but they said it's a bit fucked up with many exceptions but in German you can combine many words together (verbs, nouns) and they make perfectly sense. :D

Russian has rules that define which gender each noun has, as in German there are little rules for that and you can't know 100% which gender a noun is if you are learning the language as a foreigner.

"Kugelschreiber" is actually really old-fashioned. Nowadays we say "Kulli" which doesn't sound as ugly as the full-lengthy word. But "Schmetterling" must really sound horrific for a foreigner, I agree :D

I've read people think german is an aggresive language and even people from the east said that. Pretty strange because russian sounds super aggresive in my opinion. The german word 'Ambulanz' exists in german as well.
