They only reason why CS:GO will be released already on 21 August is the fact that a new COD will come on November and CS:GO can't compete with COD on consoles. That's also the reason why they decided to bring CS:GO on PC: CS:GO was originally planed as a simple XBOX version of CS. But after some time of developing they realized they can't compete with COD and BF. But since there are still a lot of CS fans in the PC market they just said: Okay, let's bring this shit on the PC too.
