Plantronics GameCom is hosting the North American path to the Electronics Sports World Cup 2012 World Finals for Starcraft 2, DOTA 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The qualification process for each game will begin online, with the top two finishers from the online qualifier earning paid trips to compete live at PAX Prime in the Plantronics GameCom booth August 31 – September 2. Each winner from PAX will receive a paid trip to represent the United States and Canada and compete against the world’s best gamers in the ESWC World Finals in Paris, France October 31 – November 4.

Each game will feature a free-to-play online qualifier Open Bracket, and the DOTA 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Open brackets will be combined with eight invited competitors to determine the ESWC North American Championship competitors.
