SteelSeries Ikari Optical
My friend got this mouse and he want stable 500hertz.
He tried this:

Crashed 1 of he's USB port.

I've used CPL usbrate and also hidusbf to force my Ikari laser to 500hz. Both programs works just fine. Good luck.

P.S. tried only @ winXP. so be careful.

if he use win7 he gotta do that carefully, watch a youtube video of that program, i can do that on my own easily but its hard to explain
