Easily Unaffected by CS death.
Guys,

1. Most of us here are not playing in any TOP level teams internationally. probably we are one of the city's best. WCG/IEM/ESWC taking out CS is not gonna affect you and me in anyway. WE are still going to take our Clan to the gaming centers at the weekend and practice with our rivals and play the cafe level/ city level/ national level tournament. These tournaments are held by your city cafes and organisations and ultimately you guys have to decide what games to be played (Depends on crowd too).

2.Let WCG/IEM/ etc take out CS and put in CS:GO lets see if it succeeds, ill be happy if it does, but even if it doesnt, its not going to affect my weekends or my CS fun in anyway as i still have all those ppl i play online daily from home as well as my team mates and other teams in the city to practice with in the weekends and the same old cafe level and national level tournaments. Thanks to AEC our hope is still on ;)

So if you are a person like me belonging to a good team in the city but not really in a team like SK (who depends on money to play, doesnt pay money like us to play). Then you are totally unaffected. So cheers.

Anyone who pays money to play is not affected, ppl like GTR should be worried, as he made a living out of it.. we ppl pay money to the gaming cafes to practice and have fun. So dont worry, the fun is still on :)

Yes but, 80% of the HLTV users and CS players didn't understand this obvious shit.

but well there are also people on this forum that dont play cs for years anymore but still like to watch the events ;) so the only thing that affects me is when the competitive scene dies, last time i played was in 2010 i think

omg , i have a heart attack if i don't play it longer than 2 weeks in a row , and you , omfg

i kinda agree,i still play cs but like less then 7h per 2 weeks and without events it will be more boring

ofcourse it affects eswc/wcg shutting down, here in portugal you had qualifiers to qualify to the main qualifier(:P) and it was always good to train and go there and try to upset the "giants" and improve the cs level,so yes it affects
