Lurppis is 100% right, just take a look at this screenshot from recent CSP version...

This is something REALLY apropriate for competitive play, and it looks good too.
1) Maps are clean (very important)
2) recoil isn't broken in CSP, it requires skill (very important)
3) movement is good, jump / duck and strafe are working the right way for competitive play, it requires skill to move faster and dodge bullets ( very important)
4) bullet reg, accuracy is very good in CSP
5) hud is clean, modern, and looks good
6) player models are correctly scaled (not too big, making headshots easier, just like in css)
7) weapon models are good
8) sounds are good (there is 1.6 sounds)
9) gameplay is much closer to 1.6 than anyother game available
10) granades are working the right way, very balanced and good
11) flashes are working the right way, not too overpowered just like in css
12) spamming is there (very important skill factor)
And the list goes on... All of that is superior in CSP, when you compare it to CS:GO. CSP is a Counter-Strike game, designed to be good for competitive play.
There is absolute no reason to play CS:GO (an inferior game) when we have CSP just arround the corner.
I can only see CSP taking over the scene, not CS:GO.
