Not really! European style is like safe-shooting all the time. Even if a 2.20m C in front of the basket, will go for the table. While Americans, even if shorter will go for an aggressive dunk. I like it more athletic (even though I have played European style all my life)

Yes cause I have played basketball myself for 8 years and mostly relied on skill.
I always felt that it is more fun to play when you are physically excellent. Like when I was out of shape, I totally sucked. While when physical players couldn't score, they still made a good game.

For me its the other way round, because its harder to get good with skills then with muscle, everyone can get muscle, especially nowadays in the USA with all the "supplements".

Yes, he can score, rebound, block `coz of his athletic abilities. He can assist too, but nothing special.
The right example of great basketball skills is Steve Nash, and I will always respect him more then Lebron, because it is 10 times more difficult to play like him then like Lebron.
And I forgot to mention, the most important thing that separates these two types of players is brain!

Nash was and still is a great player but he is playing as 1 (position). He must be the brain of the team, like CP3 was this Olympics. Lebron is not the playmaker.

Playmakers use their brain a little bit more, the playmaking ability requires it.
IMO even this '12 "dreamteam" had more potential but if you have followed all their matches in the Olympics, you will notice that they have played sooo bad. They were just running around & shooting. It's surprising that they won by playing that bad.
Just take a look at most players, they didn't play the ball for more than 3-4 seconds - 2 passes, grab the ball & shoot. No tactics, no nothing!

We did not see a lot of collective play from USA today, they were too greedy throughout the game especially in the first 3 quarters!
If they weren't coming from that amazing game against Nigeria things would've been a lot of different! They thought they were gonna hit the hoop everytime, shooting from weird positions and more often than not going into duels where there's little chance of winning!
