Best AWPer ever (Pros' perspectives)
I've launched a new feature series entitled "Pros' perspectives" where a variety of well known past and present CS pros give their answer to one of the big questions in CS history. In the first edition NEO, Zonic, Edward and 25 other names give their response to the question: Who is the best AWPer of all time?
Here are a couple of the answers:
Savage: "I wish it was me, - - but for now it should be a battle between markeloff and Delpan. The up and coming colon has a great AWP as well."
dsn: "cogu, who in his prime almost never missed a shot. He had a really good work ethic, from what I could tell, and always came to play."

coz, trace never choose himself as a primary awper. If there is no awper in team then only he will awp. When there was a sunde , he was an aimer. In esraels he gives an awp role to colon. In fnatic also friis and secondary is done by karrigan.

All time ? If cogu played more it'd be him there were guys like walle,dsn,sunde,fRod(I'm sure I forgot someone). Today it is guys like markeloff,friis or delpan (He's missing lot of shots but he has amazing aggresive/risky play style). Everyone had their best era when they was best in the world. You can't simply decide one best ever, at this moment I would say friis is best awp in the world. + You can't simply match shaGuar/Ksharp era with markeloff.

"No doubt, it's Delpan. I'm not saying this because he is a good friend of mine, but because his playstyle with the AWP is so aggressive that it is good for the team to have a guy like that. I mean, having an AWP player that sits around camping the whole round and takes out two in the end of the round is not thatvaluable, as opposed to having a guy taking entries with the AWP. That's something that Delpan always did, and back in fnatic when we played well it was mostly thanksto him getting the early entry. Playing against four opponents is just as it sounds, easier than playing against five - logic!"

While markeloff comes close, I think cogu was more dominant overall, especially considering his teammates. Whereas markeloff has a better system built around him, it seemed like cogu ran more things in mibr, which made it all the more impressive that he could play at such a level to at times carry his team on the way to wins like ESWC 2006."

I bet they propably would fail trying to search cogu. Many people here in Brazil tryed so much to make an interview with him, but he's too busy or don't want to do.
Moreover... my only resentment about cogu is that after his retirement he doesn't came even a single time to say at least a "hello I'm alive" to the brazilian community. Our CS community loves Cogu in CS as we love Ayrton Senna in F1, and he can't find 1 hour to make an interview? =/

Skillwise, everyone of this top5 should drawn. What I want to mean is: In a 1x1 sunde can beat Markeloff, that can beat Cogu, that can beat Delpan, that can beat Sunde... you know? In their lvl, it's just a random stuff, or a little close difference.
What they made in their respective ages and teams is what counts.
Both are insane, but cogu carried mibr alone for many years. He couldn't focus only at awp, he always had to do other stuffs ingame.

No mate, im pretty sure that skillwise markeloff is way better than cogu, even FalleN has a better skill than cogu. Why? because CS evolved, more pracc, better tatics, better gears, more bunnyhoping and ducking, its a 70% different game than 5 years ago...
BUT, we cant consider skill as the only matter to rate then, thats why i said that markeloff is better than cogu , BUT i consider a draw between then, because we have to consider the skill level in that time, what they won, the teams they played (good or bad teammates), their achievements in history and so on...
thats why i consider a draw between then as the two best awpers ever, markeloff has better skills if you put then side by side, but in that time, the game was different, cogu played with average/bad teammates considering the current level, and achieved a lot of things even with average/good team.
