"Options -> Advanced" prob
Hi guys.
I have a problem. When I select "Advanced" in "Options" i have nothing to see or change. Pic: http://s9.postimage.org/bdcr225sf/prob0001.jpg
Can I fix it without reinstalling cs?
Btw, I have another problem, not important like first, but I will be grateful if you will help me. I mean sequence of "Multiplayer", "Keyboard", "Mouse" etc. in main "Options".
Sorry for my english.

you don't installed any gui before?

try delete the resource folder

Gui is default.
Deletion of "resource" changes nothing.

try to install esl gui (http://www.satanion.dk/eslgui1153.rar), it's a very nice gui and it won't change your cfg. if it not solve, certify that your cs is in open gl (add -gl to your launch options)

Find user.scr in your cstrike folder and delete it.

I have the same sequence on NonSteam version, but on Steam it's okay. Do you use Russian translation? @_@

Yeah, I know about same sequence on nonsteam. I played on English-version steam few weeks ago, but this problem was appeared previously.

try out a gui, the second problem is inside the gameui_english.txt file if u miss the titles on the panels.
Check my blogs, theres a bunch of guis and also some of them has the default gui inside the uninstall folders, both of them fixes it.

Are you sure that lines in gameui file are responsible for tab order? @_@ BTW, Tibbse, do you know how can I do like this:

?

yh Im sure it is, if he has that problem

example from my mtw gui.

gameui_english.txt files have:

"GameUI_Options" "Options"
"GameUI_Keyboard" "Keyboard"
"GameUI_Mouse" "Mouse"
"GameUI_Audio" "Audio"
"GameUI_Video" "Video"
"GameUI_Voice" "Voice"
"GameUI_Advanced" "MTW GUI 2008"

"mTw GUI 2008" renamed from "Lock"

about the pict, I included both to my guis: options > multiplayer > multiplayer advanced.

file (if u interested on it):

u just need to know the R G B colors which is which color, and this will helps a lot:

I can't find file gameui_english.txt
2012-08-07 19:07:49
Than thats what u need I guess, cuz gameui english txt files have the text parts of the menu.

This is from the default I think this is what u need to fix your problem:
http://www31.zippyshare.com/v/61818940/file.html

1.extract
2.copy the txt file : to cstrike/resource
3.run cs and try

This file changes nothing.

Compare:

Both GUIs use the same files; text lines cannot change order of tabs.

>>about the pict, I included both to my guis: options > multiplayer > multiplayer advanced.
Yes, I know I can use them there, I just wanted to include them into "Multiplayer" tab. I guess, this is only made via source code. =\
