CSP have better gameplay nowadays, but they get late to update the game (today was the date to release 1.09 and they came back with their word)..... CS:GO have more tournaments, more players and update more (and if they listen more ppl, they can create a better gameplay)
It was until 1-2 years ago, then they went multigaming, currently they cover DotA 2, CS 1.6, CS:GO, CSP (patchnotes and stuff) and SC2. You can also discuss everything you'd like in the forums basically.
Sorry for hijacking the thread, but can someone link me to that screenshot with the comparison of the graphics from CSS and Promod? It had a box from CSS and another from Promod in it.
this poll is going to be biased due to it being on a 1.6 forum, i would like to see it posted on some other forums to get a better idea of who will be playing what
so? CS:GO wants to attract 1.6-players aswell and I'd go as far as saying that the 1.6 community is needed for CS:GO to succeed unless a shit ton of new players come.
of course new players will come, its the "new counter-strike tittle" cs has been the #1 team fps esports game for about 10years any "new counter-strike tittle" will attract new players
*EDIT* cs:go doesnt need the 1.6 community to survive. thats the whole reason cs 1.6 is dieing, we do not have the player base or the new talent coming into the game any more
i dont think valve care at all if the new players play competitively or not, aslong as they pay the $15 or whateva amount it costs to play
valve is in it for profit they do not care about the professional scene(which is obvious, because if they did they wouldn't be giving us pathetic half made games that are designed for noobs)
Let them both be released in full form than we can talk about each game, CS:GO on 21'th of august, CSPromod 1.09 after 21'th but before the end of the month (per developers words)
