same problem and pretty much same setup

i have 4 fps with pretty much same setup, hope this is just in beta

i got amd quad core and 6790 video card. 8 gigs of ram. i get 150-300 constant.

That's a laptop? If yes, do you have normal fps for 5-10 minutes and then it drops to 25-30 ?

same setup only i have gt630m and i never drop down under 100 (fps_max 101)

I believe it's a beta issue, according to research it seems like the problem mostly lies with ATI/AMD users and windows XP. Though not everyone has the same problem and even some nVidia users (and different operating systems) have the same problem.

There's enough hype about it to be fixed soon though, happens to a lot of games on beta or release.

For now try playing with the resolution settings to see if that helps and be sure to change the fps_max setting.

i5, 8gb ram, rad 6950 150 - 350 fps

i3, ddr3,1333mhz,nvidia gts 450 1gb, 4b ram = 90-200 fps

Guys, use Windows 7.

XP isn't built for these new graphic features.

amd x4 3.6 Ghz, 12 GB ram @1800 Mhz, GTX 580, 160-220 fps

this game fps is mostly based on your processor, yes, it's still beta, but it will be fixed on game launch, dunno why all ppl with strong PC have that problem, because i don't have that problem even tho i have low pc (2gb ram dual core e5200 2.50 ghz and nvidia gt9600 512mb), and i still got 90~150 fps on 640X480 resolution on medium settings.


My advice will be to lock your fps to fps_max 140 and see if you have stable fps, because it wil lb prety enough for decent gameplay

wat is the optimal fps for playing this game and in wich setting mode (low,medium,high etc )?

so i cant do anything about it?...if it is like that i cant play this game ... that sucks a lot

did you try higher settings? lower setting causes fps dropping for good graphiccard :o

~300-400 fps
with fps_max 1000 sometimes ~900 fps :D
