Maps are different from CSS. They just use the same textures till they got their own textures (afaik only aztec got custom textures).

Player-models are different from CSS. They are completely custom made and they got the same size as the 1.6 models. They don't look good in 1.08, but there will be new models.

Buy menu is custom made and completely different from CSS.

Scoreboard is custom made and completely different from CSS.

The game is based on Source engine but the graphics and everything have been modified. I guess you can it´s a highly modified css.

And nope, it´s not Valve´s work. I believe the head organizer (Garfield) is/was the owner of team EG.

I don't get the idea of CSP anymore, it was good before GO, but now it's too late for anything. Who would like to play CS 1.6 in Source when they can play whole new game with new experience. Repeating 1.6 with new graphics leads nowhere now imho.

I played cs:go last night....i almost threw up...gameplay, moves, atmosphere, recoil, sounds....its like CS for the kids up to 3 years old...its disgussting. I dont know how much it can get improved, but CS:GO simply is not CS. Anyone who know anything about CS will say the same. CS:GO is not CS. Valve did an awefull job.
