Your making them sound like they were meant to be good, they are average players at best with potential, seeing that they are young. Yes Liverpool spent 50m, but kenny dalglish totally messed there squad up , so they had to spend money just to get the squad to "average" level again. Liverpool in the transfer market, are extremely poor, most players they buy are either overpriced or a big fail, so no luck for them or bad scouting. They wont make the top4, they just need to make top10 this year, and stabalise the team. New Manager new style, they need time, maybe doing well in the Europa League will be a nice Boost them if they get very far. They are also quite an unlucky team, if you even watched the match, suarez missed like 5 easy opportunities.. the first 20 minutes Liverpool totally dominated... and they were playing with 10 men for like most of 2nd half... and agger and skrtel were having an awful day anyway... and penalties were a joke...
