MIRRA's story on Niko trashing CS:GO is idiotic and irresponsible. He even states in the article that he's never played the game. All you're doing is hurting the CS community by posting trash like this. 1.6 is all but dead, get over it and move on kids. CS:GO is the future of counterstrike.

Imma let you finish Cyberman312 but the fact that 1.6 competitive is dead doesn't make CS:GO any good. CS is dead as a whole.

remember, to this day CS:GO is the least played CS title, it is doing even worst than CS:Source and we all know how much of a joke CSS is.

Valve needs to do with Counter-strike what Microsoft did to Halo... turn off all of the 1.6 and source servers... then you won't have any choice but to be assimilated.

If they did that they would lose thousands of players.... As it stands 1.6 is still double the amount of csgo players and a fair few thousand below source. Doesnt seem like this game is going to take off. Even if they did turn off all source and 1.6 servers.

Except valve doesn't host any CS/CS:S servers, it's the community that runs them, they don't have any control over them. The only thing they could do would be to remove those games from Steam, but then again, we could still play non-steam, or go back to the old days when CS was still a mod.

Valve launched a MOD not a game that isn't EVEN without bugs or enough tweaks in it to be good. I am sorry but it is a joke how so many bad things i hear from my mates when they had so much time to build the game.
Valve is updating things today they should have implemented before selling.


It isn't about 1.6 it is about beeing good in quality and when i hear my lan mates it isnt't sounding interesting to buy.

CSS was the same thing it was total shit when it came out.


It is true cs 1.6 community should shut there mouth we heard enough but the guys defending cs go are putting such crappy arguments they should take the cord.


Pro scene is going to go because 1.6 is over and they need to win bigger prices.

It would be great if the 1.6 fans moved over to go and accepted the new game. As a source player, I loved watching cs 1.6 and thought the game was great but when i started playing it was already to late to get into the scene. 1.6 fans should remember the great games and the great teams but also look to the future. See out the last 1.6 lans and give it a great send off like css players did at CPH. Its time to unite and move on, Focus on csgo and get competitive cs back to the top gaming industry and to bypass LoL and Starcraft!
