Digital spy revealed the screen test Kate Winslet took while applying the role of Rose in Titanic. Jeremy Sisto plays the role of Jack.

Imagine if Kate didn't get the job. Or if Jeremy would have played Jack. There are a lot of characters we know and love who might have been completely different. Imagine Indiana Jones. The role was originally given to Tom Selleck! :D He turned it down to work on Magnum. Can you imagine Indiana not being Harrison?

Imo Kate nailed the role playing Rose and I'm also glad Leo got to play Jack. Titanic was a career changing movie for them and both of them have done awesome movies after that. Leo has starred the best movies I've seen in a long time like Departed and Shutter Island. Kate was absolutely brilliant in Little children, which is a great movie. Gotta add tho that Sisto too is a great actor. He was brilliant in Six feet under

You guys have any info/stories about who got or didn't get a certain role? Mel Gibson was offered main role in Gladiator but he turned it down :D Imo Russel was awesome but seeing the Mad Max background I think Mel could really have pulled it off even better.

Keanu Reeves was casted for Platoon (imagine that) but he turned it down.
