i started very late, around 2007 cause I played MMORPG games mostly and I didn't think there could be a better FPS game than RCTW: Enemy Territory or Quake 3, I didn't like BF or CoD so I thought I wouldn't like CS either, I tried it just because my friends from ET liked it very much and here I am :D

I think it was 2003 as my steam account was created in 2004 and I started playing in 1.5. Played with 56k internet and a 300 ping I remember playing militia when I first got broadband and I couldn't believe the difference it made lol - suddenly I was able to headshot people with usp from long distance ;)

i believe it were my classmates or a very close friend of mine... i don't remember probably when i was 10 or 13, bought steam in 2k8 and find out that there were pro championships in 2k9...

I remember playing for the first time at my friend house on cs_monopoly

2001 autumn, friend showed it to me and i was all like "nah, this isnt my thing". Half a year later i got my first real PC (old one didnt even run HOMM that well :D) and got hooked.

First map ive played was de_vertigo, which is kinda random, cos ive never (well, ok, once or twice) played that after.. :D

2005 I think

2006, played with high ping threw HAMACHI with neighboors.

I was 6 yrs old, played first time in 2003 1.6, on cs_assault.. then played in 2006 CS 1.5 at the local cybercafe and from october 2007 to march 2010 I was nonsteam, playing publics.. from april 2010 I bought Steam.. I'm still playing 1.6, but not as a "pro" on our scene - I mean just some ff mixes and gathers, not playing clanwars at all.. I hope that CSGO scene would grow up in CZ/SK :)

2003, a friend invited me to go to a lan, was amazed by how much people were in there, was so nervous when i got started playing, due to how many people where behind the pc´s, dont need to say that the following months everytime i had a break from school i went straight to the lan house

Since 2 months ago, but i'm pro already.

Age 6-7 Me and my friend used to go to his house and watch his father play CS. Eventually he got tired of us and send us outside. So we just looked thru the window and he didnt bother making us go away :) In 2007 i played the game for the first time myself but quit fast(low pc). We didnt have a pc that could handle the game untill march 2011.

about half a year than i played 1.6 vs bots in 1st and after that some online ffa ofc with that dam lag (1mb inet cyber and 6pcs full always )
when i bought new pc and and installed inet in my house start playing online
and that was about all :D

a friend of mine came with me to the cybercafe in june of 2005. There were guys playing CS and I didnt know anything about it. It turned out to be an interesting game and from that moment I started to playing cs with the guys in thw cyberclubs. Then I installed the game and played against bots :D 2006 I realised there were many other interesting things to do and I gave up on cs. 2010 I got to know guys who were huge fans of CS and they told me about proffesional cybersport and tournaments. since then I feel very interested in cybersport again :D

since beta , started from half life 1. I was fucking monster on crossfire @ half life. And some time ago, counter-strike was relisd.
I remember those m4a1 with zoom and stuff :P

I played on some russian servers with hacks, but I didn't know how to set correct rates, just the nickname and sens mehehe:D

2006 :-> CS:CZ <3ed playing against Bots. Torn was one of the toughest map for me back then. I still have the screenshot of completing the game in the expert level :-D Since there was hardly any1 apart from me playing in my area, i had no idea of the competitive scene. That time i was like camper + good_aim + noob_buy :-D :-D
fav. maps were-> havana, Militia, dust, Piranesi, train, assault <3

in 2001 when sister's boyfriend give me half-life with cs 1.3.

2000 I was with a guy I didn't know, who equiped my Playstation for illegal games. And he said "Hey do you know Counter-Strike?" "No"

Beta 7.1 in October 2000. Such a long time ago! I think my first map was either de_dust or de_vegas

Played the beta 6.5 (I think) at a friends house,all I remember was the m4 had a scope like the steyer AUG and the awp had a crosshair unzoomed.Then I got the game at 1.3 and started playing in pubs ,first map cs_estate ^^

2006 !!!! with my class mates, aim maps only. and the game only ran on software mode. because the computers of that school were really bad

it was in 2005, it was in aztec, i was stuck in the mini pit in T spawn, didnt know how to get out so i raged and quit, came back to the game a year later.
