I've been there, wasnt worth the amount of money tbh.. Music at the mainstage is not my kind of thing, but i had fun at the smaller stages with minimal, deep house & techno music.

mainstage music was not his thing, but at Tomorrowland you have like 15 stages every day with other music types such as DnB, dubstep, hardstyle, minimal, '90s music, etc ... The mainstage was maybe 10% of the whole festival

I think Tomorrowland has the more complete package with visuals, sounds, "story"-wise, etc.
But UMF has the same amount of music superstars and has an impressive view with the buildings in the background.

would like to go see UMF one time too :)

I agree with you on the first sentence, couldn't disagree more in your second one.

This year UMF had an amazing lineup, so superior to the Tomorrowland one. Armin, Tiesto, Carl Cox, Avicii, Dash Berlin, Skrillex, David Guetta, and many many more, I mean, its a stunning difference between both in terms of lineup.

I actually knew about UMF this year and god, for what I saw, if I had to spend my money, would be on UMF.

Mmh can't really agree on that either :D Don't think you've seen the full lineup of tomorrowland :D You really can't say UMF's lineup was so superior to Tomorrowland's. Besides some essential names, basicly every superstar from each genre was at TL.
Let's say UMF had like 85-90% of all the great dj's and TL 80%, if you get what i'm saying

Never heard any music by Will I Am, is he anything near good ? lol.

And Skrillex, actually his set on Tomorrowland was quite enjoyable, not too much Dubstep, almost mainstream.

It's really un-comparable, you cant compare those two festivals for a couple of reasons, one of them being because they have such a different background, tomorrowland is more about a fantasy world, costumes, etc.. making you feel like your in a whole different place just surrounded by magic, while umf is more about the music it play's and not so much history of a background, non the less, both great events, personally i would prefer going to tomorrowland just to have that difference that it has from all other music events worldwide.

Yeah 1 week before the whole world can order tickets online, we can order them on the same way, but only on 1 day, and they only give 60 000 tickets for ourselves, they went out in a few houres and all the rest like me just had to try to get them while the whole world could order them too :P and that was quite annoying with the waiting lines xD

And ofcourse its better that there are people from all around the world specially on a festival like Tommorowland!
Just hate the fact they have a shit system to sell the tickets which makes it hard for us too get them too. They better just let us buy them in the stores :)

ye it is, but I bet there could be a better system of selling next year, actually not sure if better system :D but more tickets for event, because people feedback was awesome this year and all tickets were sold out really quickly. And they'll want a better profit from that I think.

Ive been to the first 3 editions was very nice and then it just gained to much crowd, totally overrated media festival maybe its bcoz I visited most great parties around the globe im a lil spoiled and I just dont like it anymore bcoz the first 3 editions where the amazing for me and it couldnt over top it anymore :) also price went from 40€ a day to 80€ a day and thats just not worth it!
