iPhone 5
So what you guys think about iPhone 5. In my opinion, Apple is sounding like what Samsung and co. did an year ago. The new one is a definite improvement over the previous versions, but i am more interested in the iOS 6 and not the phone itself because there is nothing innovative as far as i can see.

Yes, with more innovative windows platform coming in along with greatly improved and varied android devices, i can hardly see what keeps Apple in the race. Probably iPAD mini should save them in a month or two, but i don't see iPhone 5 going anywhere. Price will be an issue as well.

PS: If you keep editing your posts that often, how am i supposed to keep up with a proper reply :-D :-P

Why would anyone buy Apple?
The price is MUCH higher when you compare quantity with other brands.
The batteries sucks ass.
The design is the same as it has always been, imo galaxy and lumia looks much better.
I mean... only black and white too? Omfg.

The specs for the new iPhone is similar to Galaxy s2... Why not buy the, (also cheaper) newer galaxy III?

Apple has become a sort of a popular clothing brand: High price, poor quality.

Once i heard a quote saying - "the purpose of buying an iPhone/iPad is that to show others you can afford to buy that" :-D I do not agree with this but it does reflect the Brand Factor attitude of the Apple's product holders.

The only thing that will keep the new iPhone in the race is the iOS itself. It is highly optimized and with more native apps coming in, apple's baby will perform much faster than others with same hardware specs. But the pricing/usability trade-off is much deficient in Apple's case which is the key point of success of the Android/Windows devices.

Actually I've got iP4S right now and I just think Apple make the best phones. I like the simple & (always) working iOS & the design with THE AWESOME screen. Before this I had HTC Desire HD & iPhone 3G and I've also used my friends Galaxy S, Galaxy S II, Galaxy S III & Galaxy S Tab +many others like ZTE Tab, HTC Desire Z, (the 3D camera HTC.. can't remember the model) and so on.. Android just sucks (only my opinion though) cause it's a bit messy all around. I rly did not buy iPhone to show off, actually one of the worst things about it.. is that everyone has one. I'd like to stand out with my phone and be asked "what phone is that?" (used to have this position back in the day with the sickest phones that came out)

Well, ginger Bread (android 2.3) is out-dated i agree but after ICS, things have changed remarkably. Android ICS and than jelly Beans are just awesome, so easy to use and customize. Well i won't go into the details right now but tbh, i just luv android and the high/mid range devices it supports.

Even after using SIII, if you still think that android sucks, than i must say you need to get a hold of it. Give it a proper try, then trust me u'll luv it.

Some nice changes. Not worth spending the £400-£500 just for an upgrade though. They seem to have lost the innovation with the phones now, and are reverting to just increasing speeds, and screen size, and as far as I know, they are behind Android on both counts of that anyway.

I'll stick with my iPhone 4 until they release something worth my while, otherwise, I'll try Android as they seem to be the way to go in 2012.

even though I agree that lumia 920 is probably better, the wireless charging option is pretty damn useless

looks: lumia 920 > s3 > iphone 5
specs: s3 > lumia 920 > iphone 5
usability: lumia 920 > iphone 5 > s3

for me usability, smoothness is very important so I'd still end up buying either lumia/iphone

My landlord works as a technical journalist and he showed me the new iPhone. Imo Lumia 920 kicks Apples ass. Haven't seen the Galaxy yet but from what I've heard it too is better than iPhone

I say no. They changed display size and Steve was strictly against it. New connector? Bitch please, 9 years of the same connector why did they change it? And not even for USB and again some lame Apple connector. They do changes which will ruin them. My recommendation if you own share of Apple sell it right now. Nokia Lumia 920 without memory cards because it would ruin their design? Nobody does good phone nowadays...

Don't care about iPhone 5. I have 4S and it's great:) as for iOS 6 it's quite interesting but needs improvements, bug fixes, JAILBREAK for sure and etc. :)
