CSGO is winning
After seeing yesterdays Verygames vs NIP. The mag shots by kenny I got mindfked ! I thought it was possible only in 1.6. I was wrong. We better get serious in CS:GO else the whole FPS genre fails, Not to mention Activision's COD which gets released every other year and dividing their community before they even form! cheers (Don't stop playing 1.6 though no harm)

I dont think BF3 will be a hit in 5v5 ESPORTS. considering that if we put few of those maps together it will be as big as my city. it will take hours to even go around the map lol !

Cod games are trash in term of balance ...not even promod is balanced , also there is no promod pro scene anymore , the only 5v5 FPS with a decent pro scene is CSGO atm

Its just a fucking weird when only average pub players talk about balance... And its everywhere everybody here is pretending to have biggest knowledge of the game.

Only pub players like u, players which never atended lan are still complaining about balance things... Those players complain about it more than pro players which actually can and have knowledge of the game.

+1. Plus, if I want to make money out of something, I'd rather apply for normal jobs, instead doing something I don't enjoy that much.

Normal jobs = more and more absolute money than being a gamer, then with the money, I can please myself with anything, and I'm sure it will be much more of a pleasure than playing a game I don't enjoy.

Simple logic of life: don't do things you don't enjoy.

Sir, None of us is MAKING MONEY out of this CS 1.6 or CS:GO (unless we win) 99.9% of the CS players are not sponsored. Probably we all quit gaming in a year or two cuz of our age, But by the time we quit, CS 1.6 will be dead and so is FPS genre :). I don't want that to happen thats all.

Then, why should you play a game you don't enjoy that much when you don't even make money out of it? To save the FPS scene? Well, with you and your angelic mission as an exception which I don't even know for what reasons you're doing it, I do think that most of the people here don't care about FPS scene being dead. Why should we when the only thing that relate us to the scene is only 1.6? If you don't want 1.6 to die, just play it with friends. I'm sure that there are still quite numbers of players around, thus you can still have fun with it :)

Hi... just in case i'm 100% CS 1.6 player.. I've been playing it since i was 6 years old... here is the deal... when source came i tried it... it didn't feel right so i stop playing it but i never stopped playing cs 1.6 and that is what i think we should do right now with cs:go... i have to say cs:go is more likeable for us 1.6 players... cs:go has a long way in front of it before it will be "perfect" but i have a better feeling with it than with cs source.. in the beginning i didn't enjoy watching it either but it is always because of the pro players and their actions... give them some time.. they will get used to it and they will bring us some sick actions like in cs 1.6.. i am sure... :) i will give cs:go a try but i won't stop playing cs 1.6... EVER!

Whats wrong with you? The game needs time man. Give the game sometime ! I have played for 70 hours only though, but i already got used to the recoil patterns and quickzooms. Why would i support the game if its not good? that too after playing CS 1.6 for almost 8 years (6years on steam)

You can't force a game into e-sports. If the game is not good enough, eventually it will die because it will not have enough players. CS:GO will be alive for a while and then die, unless Valve fixes it. Otherwise we'll all just have to hope another title will come along shortly which will actually be a good fps game.
