karrigan - the final


Yes, it is finally here! The first project of mine I was actually happy with throughout the whole process of making. I have twice before edited the frags of Finn “karrigan” Andersen, one ended up canceled and the other one as an insignificant mini movie. Today I am proud to present to you a movie worth the content that Finn has so very often blessed me with, without getting much in return. Today I am proud to release this final movie of karrigan, in honor of the fantastic player himself.

As for the title, we have both come to realize that Counter-Strike 1.6 is dead, so this will probably be the last official movie of the great Dane.

my eyes are perfect, stop flaming people who disagre with you. editing was poor and music didn't flow with action, maybe overedited was bad term for this but this video was clearly below average editing wise, frags were awesome tough.

you surelly know yet nothing about video editing perspectives and you are clearly blind please slap that so called your "eye doctor" for giving you false check up. Due to the frags were shown above average level. It is either your eyes or something wrong with your mind or maybe even trolling (?) I do not disagree with anyone here A movie cannot simply get a 10/10 review - it would be too rare - since not everyone likes everyone (that includes works of people also) I jsut dislike people who like to fuck up facts like youre trying here right now - wich is trying to tell that the moon isthe sun and the sun is the moon in other words saying that the frags were not shown clearly and overedited. Wonderful movie. This is how it needs to be done. Great editing and nice effects while the frags and the action behind them are clear and visible. Also the effects were perfectly moderate with no bs fucking shaking/zooming/colouring/cutting short.

Meh... I really wanted to like this one but couldn't.
Two things that really annoy me:
1) Music constantly being changed. I liked the choice of music. Stick to it. Don't change the song every 30 seconds.
2) Excessive cutting to frags. A fragshow is a bore. I want to see the actual round without too many speed-ups and cuts. I could still appreciate the actions because I had seen most of them before, but really couldn't enjoy them in this clip.

6/10 from me unfortunately.

I have always loved when movies had these many short pieces of music instead of few long ones, that's pretty much the reason why I did so.

Trust me, I love when I don't have to speed up frags, because they are fast enough as they are, but alot of these simply weren't. To make them fit the flow of the music I have to make these cuts. And I wouldn't say it's a problem appreciating the actions. My goal was to make an exciting flow without ruining the frags, and I believe I did.

Appreciate your opinion though.

one of the most talented and experienced moviemakers today. 2bad you dont focuse more on creating pro-player movies. (you know what I mean, since I dont want to rage here like I did on sk gaming:D and I especially dont want to head into argument with AksuniX_da_real_cpl_pro, because he is defending you like crazy I see.. nothing new tho. )


a sick movie overall, unique style... couple of things I didnt like:

- some random cams
- and as someone mentioned, you could have stick with one tune a bit longer...
