I think karrigan came up with that nick because his father was a cop and he was carrying a gun all the time thats why he named himself "karrigan" which is an abbreviation to "carry gun"

I remember that the New york times one's wrote that get_right's father had a obsessive-compulsive disorder and because of that he only could turn right on crossroads etc. Also forest's name is forest because his mother was once harrassed in a forest. Forests scare him so he chose that nick.
