Lack of demos?
Hey, I just got back into CS after a few years of absence. I can't seem to find a reliable source of quality CSGO demos anywhere. I think this is a big part of growing the game. SC2 grew really fast in part because of all the casters producing content from pro players replays. Imagine Day9 Dailies but for CSGO. It just seems like there's not much resources out there for CSGO content producers.

Am I missing something here or is this an actual issue?

You are right. Valve fucked up the demo protocols & features from the start when they released this game.

and also CSGO has only had 1 serious event to date (DH Valencia).

I was going to do another CSGO highlight as I saw Kirby's pov in the pov section. Downloaded it and guess what...... wrong protocol.

Even if you had a huge database of CSGO demos already, they were useless since you cant even reload them.

It's a fucking mess. You can load 1.5 demos in 1.6 and you cant load CSGO demos dated 3 days ago.

Yet, Valve is releasing important updates such as the beautiful matchmaking where you won't last 2 rounds.
