CSGO 700fps with Intel I3
Hi,

Today watched the ESL I seen a Serbian player with 700fps in GSGO!

http://www.esl.eu/eu/csgo/5on5/aseries/player/5816..

Image of FPS

http://download.esl.eu/matchmedia/27099000/2709973..
http://download.esl.eu/matchmedia/27099000/2709973..

I downloaded the Linesman to see that having configured to 700fps!
And what was my surprise that appeared a folder that is not on the Linesman of the other players. The folder in question is "Particles" and within a. Txt called particles_manifest.txt

On to these files which are modified. Pcf and have gotten these FPS.

Anyone know or have any idea that the particles hell is this??

Thank you! I want 700fps!

soz for my english :P

maybe he has an i7 980x and not i3 :)
2012-10-16 09:01:32
980x < 2600/2700K
even 2500K is better for gaming :)
2012-10-16 20:58:16
give me benchmarks and believe in you, seriously U_U
2012-10-20 00:20:35
It became clear only the difference between 2500K and 2600K but nothing related to the comparative performance of 980x

but i search and this is it http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/287?vs=444

really cool 2700k is a beast, but for gaming dont need this monsters, with 2500k is enough :) u right
2012-10-21 00:48:20
he has LGA1155 Intel® Core™ i3-2100, 3MB BOX 32nm

2012-10-16 09:19:40
good for him. somebody should contact him and ask what's his secret to those insane fps :)
2012-10-16 09:31:46
I asked, but no response ...

probably some old speccs he has not changed. I would guess a much newer system is what he use!
2012-10-16 10:10:56
The linesman shows the folder "particles" as if modified .Pcf files...
2012-10-16 10:18:40
fps_max 101, PWNT
2012-10-16 12:24:51
To fill this in your profile doesn't mean you really have this speccs. He obviously has better ones. Though he is using low resolution and low settings. Doesn't make sense in GO though if your computer is good enough. You should have stable 100FPS at least. Everything higher doesn't really matter.
2012-10-16 12:32:18
now you just need a monitor with 780 Hz and you're all set.
2012-10-16 13:12:43
thats like getting a 120hz monitor if you have only 40 fps
stupid
2012-10-16 15:19:07
that was his point.
2012-10-16 16:41:58

2012-10-16 21:50:07
my pc: intel core i3 (2.93Ghz)
4GB RAM
geforce gt320

how much fps could i get with this dude :s ?
2012-10-16 21:58:55
Im not sure, but seems that you can get >150
2012-10-17 12:56:42
damn xD
okey thanks :P
2012-10-17 12:59:32
Your fps will drop below 100 in 5on5 match in action, and gameplay will be not good because of tearing textures.
2012-10-17 13:12:44
so what should i do man :/ ?
2012-10-17 14:05:44
Change your CPU (2x4GHz) and GPU (with better clocks, min. GTX460 1GB 700/1800).
2012-10-17 14:17:10
I have to buy it xD ?
2012-10-17 20:31:10

2012-10-16 14:37:22
i can get 40!

2012-10-16 15:55:59
I can get this on a 1.6 CSDM 20 slots xD

Will you whine? xD
2012-10-18 19:43:18
srsly? god :D
a friend of mine gots 40, 60 (when his pc goes crazy) in a war sv! :)
2012-10-18 19:54:05
In a 5on5 I usually get around 70 fps

But I play on an old notebook xD
2012-10-18 20:03:46
I can get 20 in a very good day ahah
2012-10-18 23:25:37
I am the unique that tries to have 100 fps? O_o
2012-10-16 15:22:52
Looks like someone trying to bypass ESL Wire with 2 pcs : one shitty used for wire (i3) and a good one giving him 700 fps and a cheat.

What do you think about that my dear Watson ?
2012-10-16 15:30:27
Fact is sir that you might be correct.
2012-10-16 22:12:07
50/50, btw. Wire is updated about 2 pcs bypass.
2012-10-17 13:08:15
guys , i hv a notebook with i3 and my fps is 20 on dm srv's . cool story , yeah ?
2012-10-16 15:34:34
You can't compare a notebook and a desktop PC.
2012-10-16 15:37:03
You can but there need to be good mix cpu+gpu like i7+gtx680m.
2012-10-17 13:11:16
You still won't have as many FPS as you have with an i5 and a lower GPU.
2012-10-17 16:30:07
His pc specification is not updated, it's impossible to get 700fps in 5on5 match on de_nuke_ve.

He has in 99% better processor and graphic card.

About particles folder ESL do an Wire update because of that:
http://64bitvps.com/csgo/ticket/possible-to-cheat-..

It seems that he has all good in this file.
2012-10-16 15:42:24

I'm impressed that someone is impressed that 34 people give a shit about 700fps.
2012-10-16 21:08:35
wtf, how can I got 700 fps? :OO
2012-10-16 21:27:25
if you have good enough computer its possible ofc.. in source you can use fps above 100 and its even better than 100 (dont know reason) but everybody uses it, me too. i have fps 200-300 in CS:GO
2012-10-16 21:29:26
fps has nothing to do with the processor,it's all about the graphic card,if he have a decent one he sure will get that amount of fps.
2012-10-16 22:15:26
Sorry mate, but I must say that you are totally wrong.
2012-10-16 23:07:05
genious ..
2012-10-17 16:41:25
PC System Requirements for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive:

Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom™ X3 8750 processor or better

Next time don't try to be "funny guy", nobody paid attention to you.
2012-10-17 22:22:53
what if i tell you that u can play it with dual core or even with pentium 4 if u have enought memory?u must have a good gfx ofc.
2012-10-18 00:52:32
Yeah, you can play it with a 1.0GHz processor also, but your fps will be 5, that's the point.

It's true that you need to have a good graphic card, but the primary element is CPU.

u realy believe the bullshit u see in can i run it?,my friend runs cs go in dual core just fine.
2012-10-18 01:19:45
No, I have tested it in many different PCs, that's why I am talking. You can't say that "there is no need for processor, just buy a good graphic card and you will have max fps".

2012-10-18 01:35:43
no i didn't say that,i said don't believe what u see at "Can i run it",as i said my friend have dual core witch is less than the requirements in that website and he runs cs go just fine
2012-10-18 02:27:37
Look at your first comment: "fps has nothing to do with the processor".

You can't have good fps with a low CPU, even if you have GTX 690. The processor is a very important part on this case.

Anyway let's finish this debate, I know that you have your own opinion and I respect it.

2012-10-18 02:37:13
no you cant i have pentium 4 :D
2012-10-21 00:56:59
No way, for game like CS:GO the best option for fps are 2 cores above 4GHz and decent graphic card like GTX 460.
2012-10-17 13:05:22
in csgo u need good processor not gfx |!
2012-10-17 17:48:50
a gfx can have an huge impact on the fps but games like counter strike relay pretty much on the cpu

FPS still utilises process power. That is why it's called GPU/CPU. Essentially the same thing but the major difference being that a GPU is specifically dedicated to process image and a CPU is used to process the data. FPS will also increase if your CPU is able to process the program faster while GPU processes the image. If your CPU is below average and can't process the core data from a program, it's pointless to have a high end GPU to process image thinking it would still give you a higher FPS, that will not happen.
2012-10-18 12:31:43
i dont even get fps 400 with my i3 on 1.6
2012-10-16 22:32:42
Because your gpu is blocking this cpu.
2012-10-17 13:06:19
how do you mean is blocking cpu?why?
2012-10-17 23:38:02
i dont get it too
2012-10-18 21:49:28
he is not responding and im curious :D

2012-10-16 22:54:29
i have intel i3 3.07ghz nvidia gts250 - fps 160-200 max.
2012-10-17 14:00:49
Good, but what about in action 5on5 match it drops below 100fps?
2012-10-17 14:19:56
I have duo2core E7500 and @5on5 i have 90-140 fps
2012-10-18 11:22:51
What is your comfort when it drop below 100?

Do you have texture tearing?
2012-10-18 12:16:33
It's the same at 70 and 500 fps. You just need to watch it doesn't drop below 70.
And no, i dont have, my game runs smoothly (1024x768) =D
2012-10-18 12:43:34
Strange because on my pc 70fps doesn't look the same.

70fps = texture tearing, and vsync slow line on the screen
500fps = no texture tearing, no vsync line, smooth
2012-10-18 22:04:01
lol
2012-10-17 14:49:58
no
2012-10-17 15:31:05
i have Intel i5 3570K 4.7GHZ and Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti = FPS 150-300 in 5on5 match.
2012-10-17 17:36:53
I'm using i5 and i have 1024 fps when i launch the game. But when i play 5on5 i get like 400-500 fps.
2012-10-17 18:23:20
Am I the only one here that knows that 100-120 FPS is max in everything, even in real life? (despite the number like 600 FPS LOL)

2012-10-18 12:25:47
Heh, maybe but for now...this pc is just a pc who is making money. But yeah, i need a new one. On the other hand a BEAST desktop here costs around 1000e.
2012-10-18 14:19:08
i dont think so...

INTEL CORE I5-3570K -> 220e
Gigabyte Z77MX-D3H -> 135e
SAPPHIRE RADEON HD7870 -> 279e
corsair DOMINATOR DDR3 8GB -> 89e
THERMALTAKE SP-630P 630W -> 80e

= 803e :P (you use of course your old monitor-case-hard drive)
2012-10-18 16:14:36
Actually here it's ~900e, without chassis, hdd, etc. But anyway, thank you for your kind advice, by giving me this spec, her-1g. Have a nice evening!

Your prices are actually really high.
209EUR
106EUR
239EUR (GHz oc version)
40EUR (CL8 1600Mhz)
62EUR

Which results into 656EUR
And I thought Belgium was expensive... I really didn't expect such a difference.
2012-10-29 15:04:36
and if you consider our salaries (530-800e) were are going to die in a few years :/ i don't think in your country that someone you has a university degree in IT & telecommunication and a MSc at network security is being paid a 500e salary per month :/

I'd like to chime in on the topic of cpu vs gpu @ cs go. For the ones that still think gpu is important, that is.

So, I have a c2d e7400 and until one week ago I also had a 9600gso. As you can see a not so decent gpu. Let's take as a benchmark a random dm server with >20 players on it so it's crowded almost everywhere you go. With this config I had a minimum of ~60 fps.

One week ago I upgraded my gpu to a msi gtx 460. A big jump you would say from 9600gso to gtx460, right? Well, guess what? From a minimum of ~60 fps on a dm with >20 players I now have a minimum of ~70-80.

If, on the other hand, I OC the cpu from 2.8 stock to 3.5 I get another ~10-15 fps.

All in all, just to reiterate, keeping the same cpu (c2d e7400) and upgrading from 9600gso to gtx460 I got an astonishing 10-20 fps more!!!!!!!!!!

Post edited 2012-10-18 15:33:16
2012-10-18 15:27:30
For huge fps boost in CS:GO you need 2 cores processor with min. 4GHz clock, gpu gtx460 is fine.
2012-10-18 22:06:40
This is exactly what I keep telling everyone.

The source engine is CPU dependent, NOT gpu dependent.
2012-10-29 16:14:17
u are a liar maaan! u think with LGA1155 Intel® Core™ i3-2100, 3MB BOX 32nm u can get 700 fps ... u mad bro? omfg so fucking baaaaddddsss!
2012-10-18 15:54:02

Not really.. But, ye.. It costs alot :D
2012-10-20 14:19:23
The important thing is that you could play fluidamente the CS:GO, FPS quantity is slightly secondary and with 100 already it is possible to play very well, why more?

2012-10-29 14:55:20
i5 3570k + MSI GTX680 Lightning on a ASrock Extreme4 Mobo. gfx might be overkill but youll eat his fps for breakfast.
2012-10-18 23:16:01
You'll also eat less breakfast because of the money you wasted on that graphics card ;)

-Asus P8H61 M-LE USB 3.0 (B3)
-2 gb Kingston ram + 4 gb Team Elite ram
-320 gb samsung hdd
-21.5 inch full hd philips (5ms @75Hz)

CS:GO fps = 150<fps<250

and can I get your config or game settings?

Have u add this 4gb ram to this 2gb ? Or that was in standard ?
2012-10-20 13:57:58
and resolution 800x600

cos for 1024x768 fps = 120<fps<180

4GB DDR3 1600
GTX650 1GB OC

FPS 150+ on highest settings..
Not sure why a lot of you have problems with csgo, I recently bought this pc for like 400e with some random mobo, every single game I can play on highest settings including CSGO. You dont even need i5/i7 processors for now.
