With a bloodlust kill and creep kills in a tri-lane you can easily farm 2k gold and only be lvl 3, obviously kinda rare though.

Not the best mid hero in dota, but it's not completely bad. Let's say you're playing against a GREAT rune controller - say QoP. She'll often use those runes to gank. In the meantime, you can use your second skill to rape towers. Of course, killing will be near impossible, but lesh isn't a solo killing hero.
