I would like to try out cs:go and try to get as good config as possible to try it out, so if I don't like the game, it would be the reason of the game and not bad settings that doesnt make me kill anybody.
Please share your knowledge so I can get myself a decent enough config and maybe I buy the game if I get used to it.
Mostly used in Source, because highest FPS = nice, and it doesn't matter if it fluctuates lots as long as its always 150+ really. Just widely used in Source by all the top players, either fps_max 999 or fps_max 300 really.
I'd say so, yeah. I'd never cap mine at 100. I used to years ago but it was really bad compared to higher caps, if you PC can reach 285 there is no logic to cap it at 100. Try like fps_max 300 or fps_max 295, anything, really.
any idea why I get absolutely no increase on fps when I overclocked my GTX460 768mb from defaults: clock(675MHz) memory(900MHz) shader (1350MHz) --> to 860MHz, 1110MHz & 1720Mhz ? I know its a cpu game but this should help anyway I think?
