it made sense to me. Story of a kid who started off in the slums, had no money, then developed an interest in gaming while simultaneously study hard and got accepted into an engineering college. His mom, being proud, bought him a PC after acquiring a loan. He got introduced to CS, but being a n00b, wasn't accepted and got kicked, eventually he became better and everyone respected him.

Might not make sense to others. To me it made perfect sense because it just showed that in life, even when you're facing difficulties you can still achieve your goals if you put your heart into it. You work hard, try your best, even in the most difficult circumstances you will reach your goal if you have the ambition and dedication.

that was the whole point behind that story.. it was jus how person can overcome handicaps of life, how he can get successful both in studies and his personal hobbies.. maybe the people who cudn't find sense in it have never faced any hardship in their life all is goody goody for them..

wth?? that story is crap... i am sure anyone with any sense would not waste time on cs and would study for a better future... a guy from slums trying to prove himself in cs is utter crappy nonsense... why would someone waste time being respected in an old game in a country which is pathetic in the game itself... also wasting time which he could spend earning or studying...

He excelled in his studies and got accepted to a college AND improved in CS, earning his respect there. You wouldn't understand because in India, parents pressure their kids to study hard and not waste time on stupid video games. This story shows that if you really give it your all, you can reach heights in both studies AND CS if you want to.

sometimes its some1's passion to do something .. and cs was zac's passion but at the same tym he had to look towards his poor family which he didn't forget. he excelled in studies and cs in his lil world which made him happy gave peace to his heart..

It's not entirely fiction because being in India, there are lots of kids going through the same situation. Struggling in studies and eventually having to quit CS. There are some though, like the one in this story, who come from poor families but earn a reputation in CS whilst same time excelling in their studies.

like i said before, even if you are not sure what the hell was that,don't always perceive as a fiction, you deleted the blog without a conversation. it makes sense really.

If it wasn't fiction then it was a very badly written documentary, in either case it was of poor quality and I did not deem it worthy of a blog post.

Write his story in a well formulated matter, maybe with sources to back up your claims, or an interview with this fantastic human being, then it becomes relevant and will not be deleted.

ppl used to post a lot in english here and I think that when you added the message in the typing zone (you know "this is an international website, please write and comment in english... etc etc) it worked pretty well. Maybe could you do the same with the blog section with a few simple rules about what should/shouldn't be found in a blog

Goodbye, that is your decision, there are nearly 300000 users on this site, if everyone of them decided the blog function was for poorly written fairy tales the function would become worthless, therefore we heavily filter blogs..

The way i see there are actually those accounts have been created, not active accounts. If all of them start to write blog,your blog feature would really get a heavy breakdown,there's no doubt.

Anyhow make a function to deactivate or delete the inactive accounts then we'll see how many active accounts are here.

I doubt,nowdays there will be lot of users,few of them try to write blog and one of them tried to courage but got owned.

You can do nothing but accept the fact that it may be the truth or not.

It all depends on your personal view.
But in my opinion. I believe it was a good story/truth. Cus I think that it's true.
Also. So what? We all have our rights to express our opinions and what we think. What right does that give you to delete someones opinion/story cus YOU didn't like it eh? I don't wanna be a douchebag but just cus YOU didn't like it dosen't mean OTHERS didn't.

I have the right because this is my website, this website is run under a set of rules, one of them that the blogs must be readable and relevant to remain here, if we simply let everyone post what they damn well pleased the blog function would become worthless.

You see this is not a democracy, this is a private site, we do what is best for our community, if you disagree well then I am sure there are other sites out there that are better suited for you.

First of all. Do you know what a blog is? Let me enlighten you. A blog is a personal space in the internet where a user expresses his or her views or opinions on a particular subject in a discussion format in the internet. You come from Denmark, a country that promotes freedom of speech? Ironic that you create so many restrictions for users to post their personal views and opinions in your site.

You deleted his blog because it wasn't "readable" or "relevant".

I've studied in a British medium school all my life, and I understood each and every word of that guys blog. It was totally readable.

The blog was a 100% related to CS as it talks about how the guy faces economic, personal barriers to reach his goal in being a Pro-CS player. It was very related to CS.

And lastly, you call it "Fiction" which disappoints me the most. I'm guessing you haven't been to India :)

I know perfectly well what a blog is, but that is irrelevant, the blog feature on HLTV.org is defined by HLTV.org.

Freedom of speech has nothing what so ever to do with the working of a private website, freedom of speech protects you from your government, nothing more. If we just allowed everyone to post whatever they wanted we'd have anarchy within days.

The blog was poor formatted, and poorly written, and had very little to do with CS or anything else for that matter.

Fiction or not it sure as hell read like bad fiction, if it is real, why then good for you, I do not actually understand the relevance, as it wasn't solely deleted because I thought it was fiction, but also because it was nearly unreadable due to formatting and the wording, there is more to a language than grammar.

That page is worthless, I know for a fact that HLTV.org is the very best CS 1.6 site out there, so if you wish to read news 2 days late, in a poorly rewritten manner, by all means go to SK, if you wish to do without Dreamteam, stats, our onsite coverage, demos and such, why then go to SK or readmore.

Our rules are very simple, and fairly easy to understand, furthermore we are actually very relaxed compared to many other sites, but we have such a huge international audience that we need to moderate the site for it not to drop into complete chaos.

it was a story of a poor boy who had unemployed father.. how he excelled in studies nad cs at the same time. cs for his passion and studies to support his family :) but many people thought it was not well writen n all so it was deleted
