hi guyz whats you favourite ? i use 2.9 now and few day ago use 3.5 and what its better for aim for you ? no troll answers thanx ;)

I used to play with 4+ sens and had no problems. Also played with ultra low sens, no problem at all, but beating my keyboard everytime I swipe the mouse to the left is annoying.
Now its 1800dpi 3/11 2 ingame sens, no accel.

i have 1.8 ingame with 400dpi and default windows...

it is low although i have used as low as 1.2... low sens is just a hassle really as it is too hard to shoot anything that is not in front of you... you constantly get knifed by noobs cuz you cannot turn 180:D in pubs... my guess is that anything between 2-3 is good and perfect... not above or below that really... cuz then it is either too slow or too fast... medium is the best.. basically 2.5 is the best of both worlds..

The newer edition of IE 3.0 are 450 DPI. I have two and one still in box with 450 written in bold on the front of the box. All the newer IE 3.0 mice are 450 dpi.

SS ones has 400 DPI too. They can't "modify" the internals of that mouse, they only can make repaint and change glides or something like that. So there can't be 450 DPI. Same thing with ZOWIE's 1.1 mouses, they only repainted them and changed glides. Still 400 DPI.

example: i used to use goliathus control edition with 5/11 win
800 cpi, 1.83 ingame sensi. (kinzu)
when i bought qck+ i had to lower the sensi to 1.73 to get the similar feeling ingame. (infact i still couldnt get the exact sensi yet)

Low sens is great, something like 1.8, or 2, or 2.2 on 400dpi. The filling is great and aim too, but if you maintain your precise aim with a bit higher sens(2.6, or 2.8, 3.0) you will be great player with good aim and great movement :).

Higher sens,smth above 3.5 or higher, is nonsense.
My lowest sens was 1.8 with Xai and intelli 3.0, and highest was 3.35 with kinzu.
Now i have really nice aim with Xai and 2.7. Thats one full turn on Steelseries Qck+ :)

General the highest sens should be somewhere around 3, thats so enough for any extreme turn :)

Ofcourse all without accel :)

Sensitivity also changes with mouse. i use 450DPI, 6/11, NOFORCE commands + NOWINACCEL. in game is 2.5 , Razer Deathadder. So it varies from mouse to mouse right

It's different when a lowest dpi on the mouse isn't 400, for example adder 450, EC2 500, mx518 400, but if you put on all mouses 500dpi forexmpl it will be the totally the same!

But the best way to be sure is it your sens is to remember how much turn you make with one sweep on you mousepad, from side to side.

I said, 400dpi and sens 2.7 without accel is around one full turn in CS, with move from side to side on Qck+.
I used mx518(400dpi), intelli 3.0(400dpi), Xai(400dpi) and now sensei(400dpi) and it was the same on every mouse.
Except deathadder because the lowest sens was 450.
But I put sens enough to make a full turn in CS, because that's my sens. Because DPI was 450, sens was a little lower than 2.7. There are calculators online even on Steelseries site where you can calculate tour sens on different DPIs. :)

Default OS sensitivity (6/11),no acceleration and follow commands -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms
plus mouse hertz: 500

Then just find best sensitivity (there is so many different mouses out there, that can't say one good sensitivity)

Follow those ideas and your aim will get better ;-)

with a big pad like the qck heavy it is comfortable to play, it gives great control for me (Recoil, AWP, Pistol AND Rifle) and the movement is ok (it might be a bit better with a higher sens^^)

I tried a lot of Settings and Mice/Pads but since 2 years it always comes back to this...
Just find your own "perfect settings" which makes you feel confortable and "always in control"
I guess it is important to get the "I can do this" feeling ingame, when you play with the "wrong" settings it often gives you the unconfortable feeling that you might miss your shots.

Damn U guys seemed to know about, I was playing a loong time with 1800dpi, 5.7, than I saw post abou xizt neo and other stars all using 400 +-50 dpi and sens 1.9-3.5. I was like..dafuq?! I've tried 400dpi, 4.5 sens tonight and aim seems to be better but moving? Damn I can't even turn around in a 1.5 sec:D plus I have SS QcK MINI mousepad...so what do yall think?

But you play with a really fast sens aswell dude :P I have ec2 and 3.0 is really fast on 500dpi. Because 2.4 on 500dpi is the same as 3.0 on 400dpi. Also 2.8 on 500dpi = 3.5 on 400dpi.

To everyone who says you can aim better with low sensitivity: top players like f0rest, GeT_RiGhT, Gux or even SpawN used high sensitivity (they all used between 2.9 and 3.6 @~400dpi) so I don't think you can aim better with low sensitivity like some people said :)

I used to play with very high sensivity, however I gradually kept lowering it by years and now I have it at 5.
Now I use my entire arm to move mouse, but with higher sens I used to aim just by moving mouse with fingers, while keeping palm steady on desk. This way I could attain all accuracy I need, however problem is that too high sens makes mouse to lose its smoothness.

I use about medium sens. 1800 dpi 3/11 windows 2.5 sens, 1000hz.

I started playing this game with a high sens and I don't think I've EVER used a low sens for a good amount of time. So I think 2.5 sens is a good balance... when I go into the 3+ sens my aim is too sporadic, I don't practice this game enough to be able to do that, lol.

I've noticed I'm pretty good with 400dpi/125hz & 1.5 sens + accel. I make some really sick frags but sometimes my spray is god awful lol.

There is one rule worked for me. With big mouse (inteli 3.0, mx518...) i needed to use lower sens to be precise, but with small mouse like kinzu i used a pretty high sens,3.35 or 3.5, and my aim was great.

Now i use Sensei, Xai before it, and my sens is about 2.4 and i shoot great :)

I used to use low sens, like, very low sens (4/11 windows, 1.0 ingame) , and my aim was very stable but when someone catched me from behind, i goted killed almost everytime. The other disadvantage in at my point is bhop, or like to strafe in coners to do fakes or get out quickly . Now i use 3.0 in game and with doing all the qck heavy size i rotate like 160º on cs, what is very good for what i need and what i want to do. And if it makes any diference i use a the oldest version of microsoft mouses, the very simple one .
