And how the hell do you expect me to read XplayN.com, or to know that minet has said that the trains are late? I never visit that site. Basically if the time's set at 17:00, then it should begin at that time too, not later. It's understandable if the trains are late and they can't make it in time but it's just ridiculous that every match is always late. Why don't you plan an event then and see how your plan of rigid start times works out for you? But I'm not the one planning here an event, am I? I would make sure that the games would actually start in time. Compare hockey or football for example with cs within delays. I haven't been to a hockey game that would be drastically late, ever. The matches in cs tournaments have pretty much always been late. You would try to make sure they start on time, don't think the event-managers of those tournaments aren't trying but if you're handling management on an event the size of a tournament with hundreds of people it can be quite overwhelming and one thing leads to another. A single late player can delay all matches for hours and if it's not even the players fault for being late there is nothing you can do. Yes it's quite annoying but sometimes it's just inevitable. I know, it's okay if some games are sometimes late, but the fact that the tournaments are ALWAYS, I mean ALWAYS late. That's why the cs-scene seems a little bit unprofessional. Well that's what happens when you're dealing with short timescales, people traveling and working with technology. Figure it out yourself, and whine a bit less, sure there's something you can do for an hour, but then again perhaps not. It doesn't matter if I have something to do for an hour or not, the games should start in time. They aren't doing these games for you, i'd be offended if I was paying these people to play, and putting money towards the charity but you're not, are you? Stop crying like a little kid and get on with it. I'm not crying. Are you seriously claiming that it's okay that the game is late because I'm not paying these guys to play? It takes time to travel, I can get to most of Europe by plane quicker than I can to my own capitol. Your comment was incredibly pointless, yes it's slightly annoying that games are delayed, but as I said before, when you're dealing with a certain amount of people getting to one place from different areas, and then making sure computers are set up correctly and working there is always going to be a delay, unless it's an event such as WEM. Freedom of speech/expression only works well in certain situations, when you're just bitching about things, it gets really boring. But the danes should get there in time, taking into consideration that the swedes are actually travelling there from another country... It is indeed annoying, that none of the tournaments are in time which I've spectated lately. Even the most single online games are late.
