I know they aren't cheating but cheating on LAN does take place, albeit rare.

I remember one pro cheated with a custom hack. With a mouse bind he could turn on and off the hack. It just showed one white pixel of the player's location. So nobody could see him hacking unless they were standing really close. The guy was eventually caught and banned when the other team requested for his POV
