Video: Pimp vs TCM-Gaming
Time: 2013-02-26 06:30
Game: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

One of the best players in the Anexis camp during their Mad Catz Invitational 2nd place campaign was Jacob "Pimp" Winneche, and here is one example of his composure.

After top-fragging for the Danish team in the first map of their quarter-final against TCM-Gaming, Jacob "Pimp" Winneche began de_dust2_se with a 4-kill round. He held the German team away from the A bombsite with some help of his teammates, which kick-started his 30:12 performance in this map, eventually making him Man of the Match.

Counter-Strike isn't just about killing and aiming. Positioning and strategic elements on rounds are also important. In this case, Pimp's positioning and calm during the round is fundamental for his success and kills. That's why it's highlight worthy. Just a personal opinion.

okay Dr. rzyx

This is a standard passive long hold from platform. I've personally seen the same spot and same result happen from many top teams yet those weren't clip worthy, but this was?

Let's analyze the clip a bit more: He started playing from platform/ramp to play a more support role this round. He supports long a decent amount and gets a nade frag, but unfortunately his teammate gets picked off. I'm assuming the guy boosting him up via elevator was either a rotater from mid or a fell down from plat/cat. I can't tell just from this clip. He knows he can't push ramp as that's instant death, so he boosts up to get a better position and gets two frags from the Ts who just can't seem to pick him off at a very expected spot.

I don't know.. this all seems like a very standard play to me. Regarding positioning it's standard, but good. Decision making was good, but the frags itself left much to be desired. A combination of all three makes a good clip.

My 2 cents. :)

I would like to see his highlight against VG on dust2 on B-site. Three insane frags, amazing reflexes.
