Cph Games updated info

Game: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

As we get closer and closer to the 2013 edition of Copenhagen Games, the event organisers have disclosed more information about the event.

The Danish event will run from March 27th to 31st at Øksnehallen, an exhibition centre in the centre of Copenhagen, with €33,000 up for grabs in the CS:GO competition.

Since we published a provisional sign-up list last week, more big-name teams, like Natus Vincere, ESC Gaming and Quantic Gaming, have signed up, which brings no doubt that this will be biggest CS:GO tournament we have so far seen.

An issue that some teams may be overlooking is the fact that the tournament will be fully BYOC and that there are only 60 PCs for rent, which means that only 12 teams can rent computers.

The price to rent a computer and a monitor is 1,000 DKK (€135), so each team will have to pay 5,000 DKK (€675) if they do not want to bring their own computers. The specs of the PCs that are available for rent may vary, but the minimum specs are the following:

I3-3220
8GB ram
Geforce GTX 660 / Radeon HD 6800
BenQ XL2420

Meanwhile, the event organisers have released the floor plan of the event, which you can find below:

Stay tuned to HLTV.org as we will bring you all the info about Copenhagen Games.

I hope they reserve the PCs for the USA guys separately..
2013-03-02 18:44:50
^ this.. bringing a pc by plane will cost them a shitload of $$$
2013-03-02 20:40:17
they could just bring gameing laptops, even though it's not as good as playing on desktop.

Only a ASUS ROG or Alienware M17x would be as good as a PC.
2013-03-03 06:27:12
i agree but there also others that are good like origin pc, msi. I Think ASUS ROG is the best tho in laptop category for gaming.
2013-03-03 18:28:55
OMG soooo much cash here.
2013-03-02 18:50:52
Just need Team Dynamic there and we will have the awesome trio of USA teams.
2013-03-02 18:55:17
It's too bad dynamic organization = poor. they can only afford to send them to domestic events it seems like

which means pretty much only esea lan, lol

in previous years, the manager has usually signed up as well. Or he is just a template because their 5th didnt sign up on the site. I guess it's possible their 5th is busy... but think this is just a rego thing.

If you look lower you can see lemondogs manager (pani) also signed up.
