2013-04-23 01:13:08
good old 1.6 :(
2013-04-21 13:06:32
1.6 for ever :(
2013-04-21 13:07:11
This game is so beautiful.
2013-04-21 13:08:28
you went one step too far
2013-04-21 13:09:40
lol, this
2013-04-21 13:12:49
:GO must die!
2013-04-21 16:46:17
* must change
2013-04-22 08:18:15
the assholes disliking are probably insecure about their game being a success
2013-04-21 13:09:14
and what about the people who disliked every csgo clip hltv made at the start?

a bit hypocritical dont you think
2013-04-21 14:12:49
so? show you're "superior" and don't dislike like an idiot, it doesn't solve anything
2013-04-21 15:24:57
lmao, all CSGO highlights from a few months back were spammed with dislikes by insecure 1.6 fanboys.
2013-04-21 15:08:13
Because people genuinely disliked CS:GO. But majority of current CS:GO players are 1.6 players.
2013-04-21 17:11:04
So what you're basically saying is that people can't genuinely dislike 1.6 ?
2013-04-21 18:39:59
They wouldn't have played 1.6 all these years then. Whereas, people who initially disliked CS:GO videos probably still don't play it.

There are people switching to CS:GO from other games than 1.6 man.

I agree that something like 50% of the players must be from older CS (maybe more, maybe less), either Source or 1.6, but as Source did, a new game always brings out new players who didn't play CS before.
2013-04-21 20:23:05
I doubt the number of 'new players' is even significant enough to be mentioned anywhere.
2013-04-21 23:07:40
It is. Just as it was significant enough when CS:Source came out.

A new game with decent graphics always brings out new players. That's just how the video game market works.

Thinking a gaming community just stay still is delusional. There are every day people quitting CS and people starting CS. And people starting CS will be much more attracted by CS:GO.
2013-04-22 00:06:17
Do you have any source to point to that could perhaps indicate this very significant number?
2013-04-22 11:27:28
I'm not using sources, I'm using logic and common sense, just like you are, but if you disagree feel free to explain why.
2013-04-22 11:44:47
Because they would rather play COD of Battlefield.
2013-04-22 12:20:08
Dude, if you don't want to discuss just say it instead of throwing any crazy idea that comes to your mind.

My point is : People wanting to play CS right now would rather choose CS:GO over the other CS games. Hence why there is a high chance that a comfortable amount of players are people coming from different games than from 1.6 or Source.

I'm talking about people wanting to play CS, so why are you giving me a COD or Battlefield out of nowhere ?
2013-04-22 12:29:18
Because people wanting to play CS is very relevant to people not wanting to play COD or BF3 and that number is very slim.
2013-04-22 13:43:19
But you do remember we're talking about the CS:GO player pool right ? So this number may be not that great in comparison to people wanting to play COD or BF3, but compared to people wanting to make the switch from older CS, I'd say it's far from very slim. Anyway, it's not like we'll agree on this I fear.
2013-04-22 14:32:27
lurppis has some skilllz
2013-04-21 13:12:06
against noobs? maybe yes.
2013-04-21 15:01:53
Would love to see you play against them.
2013-04-21 16:24:09
I said that I'm better than them?
Just because they are better than me doesnt mean that I cant call them noobs.
2013-04-21 17:06:14
oh really ? damn you.
2013-04-21 17:11:08
you should have stopped at your previous comment honestly.
2013-04-21 18:41:27
go back to your cave
2013-04-21 17:10:10
to be honest here is no skill shown :)
only insecure movement and slow aim :)
2013-04-21 18:44:23
miss you
2013-04-21 13:13:23
well played lurpp !
2013-04-21 13:18:57

2013-04-21 13:20:59
Nostalgia =(( 1.6 was such a fucking sick game...
2013-04-21 13:23:21

2013-04-21 13:24:26

2013-04-21 13:28:31
inzejn lurpp
2013-04-21 13:29:58
I miss this m4 :S
2013-04-21 13:31:49
why doesn't lurppis just join or start a csgo team? he's way too good to play in just 1-2 tourneys a year.
2013-04-21 13:33:55
he said that he will play do it when valve will change the name of 1.6 into csgo on steam, so even if valve will do such a thing it will still be 1.6 with a different name
2013-04-21 13:36:20
1.6 <3
2013-04-21 13:35:59
He killed 4 players with their backs turned then lost to the 5th and this makes a frag movie? lol
2013-04-21 13:36:48
maybe because he threw a few perfect flashbangs before?
2013-04-21 13:40:10
"Perfect flashbangs" rofl

Those were pretty much as predictable and textbook flashes as they get, leading 10-0. He is playing against bots.

1/5

bad highlight, no feeling xd
2013-04-21 14:11:04
This highlight should be about the terrorist who managed to get a kill.
2013-04-21 14:39:54
FEELS.
2013-04-21 16:02:03
still better than about the last 20 highlights by hltv
2013-04-21 19:14:39
As Zouzu said, still better than 99% of all GO-highlights rofl
2013-04-21 19:35:25
Really? I dont agree with that at all
2013-04-21 21:04:35
Let me rephrase that.

More enjoyable to watch, than 99% of all go-highlights.
2013-04-22 21:11:17
I strongly disagree, 1.6 is an OK game but this highlight is just bad
2013-04-23 19:33:05
Lets agree to disagree then.

1.6 is the best game I've ever played by far, in terms of enjoyment of the game.

1.6 is the easiest cs, you dont even need to have good aim cause you just wait till the guy is behind a box and unload a full clip into him with your para. CS:GO #1 master race and you can tell its better game because cs:GO has Swag-7
2013-04-21 15:13:52
ban pls
2013-04-21 15:30:10
I'll give you a 3/10
2013-04-21 15:58:07
haha swag 7 xD
2013-04-21 16:26:26
obviously you are as stupid as you sound boy!
1.6 gameplay is perfect,it is true that frags are easier in 1.6 than go but that what made it so dificult;because when two good teams clash, players have to get instant headshots or they will probably die, thats what made 1.6 last for nearly 2 decades, the skill required is huge and if you ever played against good teams you would have noticed that you can shove you aim deep in your ass when you get flashed and killed before you get a chance to aim at anything.
ps:valve should power up the ak and m4 so we could at least get some fun back, because right now sprayers are infesting the scene with those smgs(the noobs arsenal)which are too accurate and powerfull in my taste.
2013-04-21 17:02:07

nice man this is the best thing lurppis has ever done in his entire career yet he waited for the game to die before becoming an average player - how unfortunate.

2013-04-21 18:36:18
ahaha, I just went to his facebook fan page and copy past :D
2013-04-21 18:43:08
Copypastingwithoutreadingbeforeiznogoud :D
2013-04-21 19:50:23
Maybe he didn't play as a player, but remember he was the in-game leader at EG, so he was probably taking a coaching role behind them and they probably played based on strats they did with him.
2013-04-21 19:13:23
probably, but the guy that posted all that stuff mentioned it to be achievements as player and not as coach or something else :)
2013-04-21 19:49:15
so 4 events of that list makes it less relevant?lol
2013-04-21 21:05:26
point me where i said that its ''less relevant''.

I only said that those shouldn't be considered if he want to defend lurppis as a player :)
2013-04-21 21:44:46
4 out of 100 or wtv doesnt really matter in the discussion
2013-04-21 21:45:15
you still replying me for something i didn't say :D

I just pointed that (in a funny way) to the portuguese bro that copypasted that list, and it wasn't meant to create a serious discussion at all.

GL HF.

you're a 17 year old kid who's calling other people virgin on the internet but who hasn't even see a pussy since the day his mother pressed him out of her asshole.
2013-04-22 03:56:58
manner up you troll, let people enjoy what they want. remember its not obligatory to worship csgo at all cost even if its worse than 1.6 , so why not let the guy have his moment enjoying the best fps game on the site that was created for 1.6? huh? you tell me
2013-04-22 09:57:10
wow, real cs, I almost forgot how nice it is, the sound the headshots the feel. no other words except to say this is real cs.

server?
2013-04-22 09:57:57
low enemy
2013-04-21 16:01:28
and what could you have done if you rushed ramp as T against those perfect flashes? not to mention the last flash thrown by his teammate

not saying the enemies were good or anything but you can't take away from lurppis on this one, it was just perfect timing
2013-04-21 16:04:09
thats why you dont rush ramp against full nade and weapons. it was a pretty boring 1-sided series.
2013-04-21 16:17:28
well with good timed anti-flashes, 1 good smoke and useful spawn-points you can rush ramp (though a straight rush is always a risk).
2013-04-21 16:54:12
low brain low gay
2013-04-21 19:16:08
CS: GO is good to play but it's not exciting to watch as 1.6.
2013-04-21 16:13:38

haha :D
2013-04-21 23:42:17
1.6 has nothing more to learn all the same all the time: D
2013-04-21 16:24:32
it actually has a lot to learn..imagine if all the pro players knew how to longjump or fastrun then the meta would change drastically (attack times would be changed), and that's just something out from the top of my head
2013-04-21 16:31:31
the valve and ridiculous because they do not add movement cs 1.6 in csgo so simple for the game to be great
2013-04-21 17:39:10
play vs me, you will learn every match.
2013-04-22 09:59:01
I bet I beat you in any cs

im 1.6 aim map specialist, no source, minimal csgo. i would take the bet, but we wont play probably. except from bragging, my point is that in my experience allways you learn new ways to trick your opponent, and big part is because goldsource allows perfect moves
2013-04-22 23:27:49
LOL the opponents are so fucking Noob.
ZERO communication.
ZERO skill.
2013-04-21 16:25:48
all flashed, no chance but the tactic was stupid indeed
2013-04-21 16:29:39
ahaha, you stupid child of :GO
2013-04-21 16:45:30
Want to know their communication?

nitr0: I'm blind!
donE: I'm flashed!
DAVEY: I'm blind!
omareloff_a: Rushed B!
n2g: I got him!
2013-04-21 18:09:41
it's harder to aim on 1.6 D:
it's spray-and-pray fest on GO. with many retarded player doing WASD shooting..
2013-04-21 17:11:32
indeed.. also when you can master movements your aim get so better in 1.6.. and you can outstand enemies, something that you cant do in GO
2013-04-21 17:21:55
So fucking true. Just move around and try to hit the enemy :D
2013-04-21 23:45:43

+1 for above, this is an average highlight and it is 10k times better than CS:GO's ones.

2013-04-21 23:37:36
What did you guys expected the scene was dropping so the skill level wasnt that high. Especially in the US. At least give the game the last credit this might have been the last competitive cs 1.6 tournament

This game was so good, i wish we still played it instead of csgo,..wait I still play 1.6 fuvk yeah, like a boss! btw shit numbers on streams today, i hope it gets better, i dont like csgo, but I wish the best for the offsprings of cs, too bad so little of the original dna is there
2013-04-21 23:48:54
shit numbers because the stream icon was cs:go on hltv.org and the team names were NCI and mouseSpaz..even when 1.6 was alive I wouldn't have watched a game if I saw those two tags

just think if it was navi, esc, sk, fnatic etc..numbers would've exceeded 30k as always
2013-04-21 23:58:24
I watched all 1.6 matches even if they did the best to suprres it and hide it from public. I meant the csgo numbers ofthe main event with csgo = pure shit.

5/5 answer right there again
2013-04-22 02:41:34
Lurppis, uggliest highlight ever at "Pro-Level".

How dare you guys upload this hidious clip?

#1 off, the opponents seems really low and disorented, going out 1 and 1 at ramp and rest just fucks around in lobby.

#2 I don't know what the radio guy was looking at, althoguh he might have been flashed by lurppis flash but I doubt it, it exploded way earlier in "cod". Or he maybe acually pushed ramp and fall back when he got white by the flash.

#3. What the heck did the guy do in squeeky room do, he should have known from the start that lurppis is pushing lobby and get ready for it, instead he switches or whatever he does.

Overall, really bad T-tactic by pods, looks like PN tactic where there is no IGL and all of them do whatever they feel like to do.

radio room push alone 4 kill all headshot less than 20 seconds, not best opponent but still nice no?
And nice variation from all these csgo clips, its hard on the eyes, so I welcome this 1.6 clip very well. you making too much drama.
2013-04-22 09:39:26
Even I can do the same or maybe even better, and Im not a pro, long ways from pro. IMO it's no real frag clip material, I do stuff like that daily when I mix.

Though I do agree with you its nice to see 1.6 clip.
2013-04-22 15:09:07
<3
2013-04-22 09:37:35
He can only kill in the back? Last guy was in front of him and he died easy HAHAHA
2013-04-22 11:57:17
idiot pole strikes again, can't you see all those were perfectly flashed? he couldn't kill the last guy because he got shot with the galil first, l2p then comment
2013-04-23 01:26:47
I dont care about that they are flashed dude. So that guy with galil shoting first coz of PERFECT reflex of lurppis HAHA
2013-04-23 01:50:36
yes you tool, if you get shot first then it's most likely you will not get the kill
2013-04-23 02:02:15
one of the worst 1.6 highlights.. srsly?
2013-04-23 01:24:20
nostalgia
2013-04-23 02:48:12
New school saucer fags coming out of the woodwork, dusgusting. You couldnt get 1 hs against these noobs while they were flashed... 1.6 so much more feels than csgo..like watching first season of scrubs then watching last...oh how the mighty have fallen.
2013-04-23 03:16:19
gr8 ;D
2013-04-23 04:03:02
