Game: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

The organisers of the TECHLABS Cups have announced the creation of an online cup for 128 teams.

The cup will be played on the weekend of May 4th-5th, with all teams having to sign up as the tournament is open to everyone.

The winner of this competition will qualify for the upcoming TECHLABS Cup, which will be held on May 18th in Minsk, where they will contest the first prize of $3,500 with ESC Gaming. The loser of this match will walk away with a $1,500 cheque.

Dota 2, Shadow Company, World of Tanks and StarCraft II are the other games that will be played in the Belarusian capital, with the combined prize pool of all titles amounting to $25,000.

ESC Gaming to travel to Belarus for TECHLABS

Teams can sign up for this open qualifier by heading over to the website of OverPro.ru, which is the leading service for automatic matches and tournaments for Counter-Strike in the CIS.

In addition to the $3,500, the winner of this TECHLABS Cup will secure direct entry into this year's annual final, which will be held in December, also in Minsk. Ninjas in Pyjamas are already qualified for this event after winning last month's tournament in Moscow.

The last two teams will come from the Kiev and the Almaty events, which are scheduled to take place in September and November, respectively.

Terrific

because poland shares the border with belarus, meaning it's only a 4-hour train ride from most of polish cities. you can't really expect nip or vg or ww to be bothered with this event seing as they'll have to waste too much money to win only $3,500. and vp's adren lives in kazakhstan.

Does anyone know how I activate my account on their site, without having CS 1.6 installed? zzz

1. to register your team on this cup (on overpro.ru), it is not necessarily to be activated, you just have to register there
2. to the moment of confirming registration it wil be able to activate an account with CS GO, all matches will be automated. GLhf
