Team CMAX.gg presents fresh blood
Time: 2009-01-04 19:06
Game: Counter-Strike 1.6
Today in an all exclusive interview we talked to the captain of the new team Gashi "sinnehtjez" Naseri and the owner of CMAX.gg Patric "replay" Fahlman  about their new team who consists of players from three different countries.

CMAX.gg, the former home of a very well known Finnish team, find themselves today with a new team with some familiar and less familiar faces. With players from three different countries and former teams such as SSV-Lehnitz and dignitas, CMAX.gg’s new roster consists of:

Gashi "sinnehtjez" Naseri
Chris "gUAGO" Ama
Justin "impu" Jutte
Rob "immuNe" Frith
Manuel "Matrix" Szulecki

We got an exclusive interview with the team’s new captain Gashi "sinnehtjez" Naseri about expectations, players and why they will be the new team to represent an organization with big shoes.

How did the team take "form"? Players from three different countries, that's kind of unusual?

It all started when me and immuNe came in contact to make a mix-team for IG6 LAN, we were getting bored of mixing so I called impu and guago and ask them if they where interested in playing again, I knew matrix from my old team and asked him for a LAN and he agreed, we start praccing, and after 2 months we felt like we could be more than just a LAN-mix. So now here we are.

Do the different nationalities make it hard to practice both communication and latency wise?

not that hard thought, The United Kingdom, Germany and Netherlands are close to one another, and with a Game-Hosting.nl we all have equal latency, and all of us are 18+ and able to talk decent English!

What is the situation between the team and CMAX.gg? What do they expect from you and vice versa?

They are expecting us to do some damage in the top/subtop teams of Europe and attend as much as international LAN’s as possible. What we expect from cmax is a stable management and the needs that we want to attend international LAN-events.

The previous team was more or less the second best team in Finland, with heavy achievements, do you feel ok with the shoes you have to fulfill?

We and the CMAX.gg management know, that the Finnish team did some great things during their time. We have told them it’s not easy to do what they did, of course we would love to step in their shoes and do the same things, but to do so it will be hard. But nothing is impossible!

What will be the next event for the team?

We are still waiting for Matrix to come from his holiday. After that we’re going to have a bootcamp in the Netherlands, and we will discuss what LANs we want to attend after the bootcamp. You’ll probably see us at a qualifier for a big LAN like KODE5/WCG/ESWC.

The team’s hopes are high and by the sounds of things it looks serious, but where we will see the first is for the time being unknown. We also got a few words from the owner of CMAX.gg Patric "replay" Fahlman who shared his thoughts on the team:

What is expected of the team from CMAX.gg?

We hope that they will do some damage in Europe by getting in the top and of course we hope they can qualify themselves for a big LAN’s like ESWC or WCG.

Why this team after having the Finnish one? Do you feel the same level of confidence?

Of course we know the finish level was at a pro level, so it’s hard for them to do the same what they did. but we have faith in this team and see much talent, and we think that they can grow big just like the Finnish team did.

What level of gaming do you want the team to accomplish? Do you wish to see them on every global event? Or on a more local level?

We like to have them on as many global events as possible. Of course we would like to see them on more local things as well.

With a supporting management and what seems like a stable team, we can only hope that CMAX.gg will find their place in the Counter-Strike world and that HLTV.org can be there broadcasting their important matches.

2009 year the best year for CS 1.6 :)
2009-01-04 19:37:52
oh and by the way, don't your team have to be of same nationality to play in WCG?
2009-01-04 19:41:48
Yeah they do, so they won't be participating there. ESWC has 3ppl rule.
2009-01-04 19:48:07
i think u need to have 60% from 1 nation they have that so..
but to qualify in uk is lot more easier they only have dignitas,
2009-01-04 19:43:09
Dignitas are better than any dutch team around...
2009-01-05 11:56:03
Nonamers..
2009-01-04 19:47:06
No, they were known before your time =) With all do respect =) Not like you would question the SSV-Lehnitz.swe as a bad merit?

he didnt :) i played in EDiT and he didnt;p

he has been a stand-in for lots of teams tho..

anyway i dont think this team will do very much damage internationally but thats just my 2 cents
2009-01-04 21:13:50
According to sinnehheh he played in EDiT?
2009-01-04 22:00:03
If you listen to everything sinneh says, watch SpawN join them soon...guy just wants attention, trust me. :)
2009-01-06 01:56:33
WCG with 3 different nationalities .. ? :D
2009-01-04 20:21:24
OmG!
2009-01-04 20:42:30
If the organisations in the Netherlands were better, they had atleast a chance of getting a better position on international level. But i think they're shit.

GL to this team, it is fun to have an international team. I had one to in the past with americans and bulgarians :D

2009-01-04 22:07:53
this clan isn't even top10 from nl, what is cmax doing? sinneh wasn't even in EDIT, he is like the biggest joke in the whole NL scene, stupid that CMAX.gg choses a stupid team. And impu got kicked from EDIT because he wasn't good enough for EDIT.

WELL GOOD LUCK.
2009-01-04 22:08:28
how funny is it that the last 3 that just posted are all 3 from the same clan bit of lol´d bout that
2009-01-04 22:10:31
yeah and we play in nl, and we know who's winning and who is losing here.
2009-01-04 22:15:29
so u have played cmax.gg?
most off the dutchies here that are flaming is just because of jealousy

2009-01-04 22:15:59
lol. we don't even bother playing them. and we are not jealous, why should we? if he is gonna achieve someting, that's good for them and good for our scene, but my thoughts and experience of these players is that they won't make a cent out of a dollar, that means they can have a good organisation but they won't achieve.
2009-01-04 23:47:28
Seems, that Szulecki is a polish last name :) Anyway, GL!

Doubt this will be an international topteam :S but it would be good if they make it so GL & HF!

Some comments are really poor, you can at least wish m luck >_<
2009-01-04 22:23:07
here goes the best comment on the news so far:

Who can speak with XLBet to make some odds for this team? I want to bet my whole house and everything I got, that they won't last longer. Pathetic team, zero chance for them to actually win something if they even participate. Just dont understand why u made such a big news about them. Believe me, they doesnt seem like a stable team. I may sound rude, but i speak the truth
2009-01-04 22:25:33
how, you can see into the team?:), okey nvm.. hf in ur "PSY Life" hu FTW
2009-01-04 23:14:53

ROFL at the dutch flaming.. always the same... All jalous ofcourse... Its pathetic how most people respond... Have they shown you all some matches yet? No.. so don't say they are shit before even seeing something.

Fucking dutch scene
2009-01-04 23:35:59
HAHAHAHA this is already the best joke of 2009!!

oowh, and for all the guys who says that people who flame are jealous: CU @ THE NEXT HLTV WHEN THIS TEAM IS PLAYING LOL!!!!

I played a lot with the dutch guys, and i can say 1 thing; they are shit, they cannot beat any topteam in the netherlands, and that is for sure. Sinnehtjz is like Danny "Opti" Lap/Drakentepel is in the managment scene in the benelux. Just saying things.. without results.
2009-01-04 23:47:42
They aren't top level but we will see maybe if the teamwork is 100% they will get good results.
2009-01-04 23:58:06
i call this a joke lol...

Nice interview, spotted a typo though:"...if they where interested.." Shouldn't it be were?
2009-01-05 10:47:24
If they want to qualifie for KODE5 and ESWC, they have to start pracc. if they not, other teams will kick their asses
2009-01-05 11:49:28
Good Luck with the new team and Have Fun!

p.s. I know why everybody is reacting like this in the dutch scene. I self was newswriter @ gamelux about 8 months ago(now i'm the headmaster :P :P :P) and i got sinnetjez in the pm about a new team with realfire, hanG and some others. I wrote a newspost for him and did a interview with pictures and all (about an hour work). When i posted it on Gamelux hanG started pm'ing me why i make bullshit posts and he was not in that team.

So that was kind of the backstory why everybody is flaming sinn for, because he's allways making teams with 'pro' players that don't even know they are going to play with him.

Kinda funny to see this back in the iview when you know the backstory:

What will be the next event for the team?

We are still waiting for Matrix to come from his holiday. After that we’re going to have a bootcamp in the Netherlands, and we will discuss what LANs we want to attend after the bootcamp. You’ll probably see us at a qualifier for a big LAN like KODE5/WCG/ESWC.

but i hope this time he's 4 real and he will be powning some international ass! GL !

2009-01-05 17:54:37
immune is a very decent player in UK scene tho
2009-01-05 23:32:25
All randoms in my eyes o_O
2009-01-06 02:40:36
this is just embarrasing news imo, i know who they are and they're certainly not good or top notch, ok immuNe might be an "okay" player, but the rest is just a bunch of shit, no offence but they do not deserve a newspost nor any attention at all.
2009-01-06 16:59:39
negativ publicity is a better publicity than positive publicity! xD
2009-01-06 18:23:08
haha, somehow i dont agree with that ;pp
