Sweden have announced their call-up list for the LAN Finals of the European Nations Championship.
The LAN Finals of the ESL's nations tournament will be held at the gamescom trade fair in Cologne, Germany, from August 19-23.
Sweden, who enjoyed a perfect 5-0 record in the group stages, have just confirmed their roster for the tournament, which contains three players from fnatic and two from Lemondogs.
With no surprise, none of SK Gaming's players have been called up for the tournament after not featuring for Sweden in group play.
LAN Finals will take place from 19 to 23 of August at gamescom trade fair in Cologne, Germany, featuring ten national teams to compete for €15.000 in four disciplines.
Sweden will take on France in the semi-finals of the ENC tournament, with the winner meeting either Germany or Poland in the final.
Sweden will feature the following line-up:
Patrik "cArn" Sattermon (fnatic)
Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund (fnatic)
Rasmus "GuX" Stahl (fnatic)
Björn "threat" Pers (Lemondogs)
Johan "face"Klasson (Lemondogs)
bet on them to win it this year

imo he's better then carn or gux
Be ready to see several highlights.
Cuz this kid really knows how to bite.
Why do you even bother to fight?
He will dazzle you with his flashlight.
Which will make him win the gunfight.
He's like the Black Knight.
Pew pew, to bad he's white.
When you attack and he covers the bombsite.
You will feel his might.
Then you'll see him stand up with a smile like snow-white.
Doesn't matter if y'all unite.
You'll still be no match for mother f***ing Get_Right!
Yours Truly Rap Boy (:
I know very well 1on1 shootout doesnt neccesarily mean anything.
However its often the good aimers who pick out the entry frag in matches, like f0rest.
all the other teams will be made of the very best players in each country, seriously how stupid is it to make a line-up without one of the two best players in Sweden ?
I get the way this was thought though, they wanted cArn as the leader, so it only left spots for 2 more fnatic players and Gux and gtr were wanted in the line-up so they cut off f0rest... but still, that's insane.
I am sure this lineup is atm the best possible IN THE WORLD and I don't mean mixed lineups like "solo walle spawn etc.", I mean national team.
+to be honest, SK isn't as good as they were 1 or 2 years ago, they have the potential but atm they are not so strong.
although gtr is already a freakin beast by himself, having two freakin beasts never hurts.
And stop whining on the lineup, I think cArn knows what he's doing. -_-
Please stop be retarded and fanboy SK.
The results have shown that whatever players play the results were positive ones.
On personal preference, I would change face for allen but still face too deserves the spot to show that he has a less publicized but equal to other players' skill.
If, as #32 states, SK players did not want to play online qualifiers and cArn chose to reward those who did, well, as to me it would be a chance those players lost to claim a new title, if Sweden wins in the end.
I would nevertheless be careful as France is a dangerous contender.
Fnatic/Lemondogs
That's how they mix in Sweden. That's it, they just like eachother.
Therefore your "rule" does not seem to be applied "strictly" ;)

Therefore, the changes apparently were decided later on and not prior to "mix preferences" which would have lead to the announcement of a different line-up, f.e. the one that has been playing regularly during the on-line qualifier ;)
f0rest is probobly the best all round player in the world, but GT,GUX,FACE,THREAT these players are basicly same level anyways.
cArn on the other hand cant be replaced as hes not only the captain but probobly the best in-game leader in the world..
Its not all about just running and shooting them, even if these guys are that good. But also interpret the opponents game. Knowing what spawnpoints they have, knowing what tacts they play in order to make it easier on his team, switching things up if not going as planned.
There is more to the title captain then you seem to think. Theres a reason why he is the swedish team captain.
get_right
f0rest
cArn

but this good lineup to win germany xD
gtr at the moment is best player in the world gux is on the way to be one of the best cArn is maybe best in-game leader in the world...

f0rest
get_right

i think zet can play good, really good when he's teammates are doing so
Will be fun to watch ^^
2.walle or DSN
3.allen
4.face
5.GeTRighT
2 callers .. Threat and Carn..;x
f0rest declined the offer to play himself so no point in arguing about that.
This team is great as it is.
THREAT and Face are amazing and one of swedens best players. Adding them to the team is gonna be killer, just look at what they did to the other teams including SK at Dreamhack summer 2009.
Only possible exchange I could see is getting kHRYSTAL into the mix. But still, as it is now they are still gonna win every match. Period
kHRSTYAL however is one, hence why I think he should be added to the squad to make it perfect.
swe could provide better lu, but this one also can do some dmg.
allen
f0rest
GTR
GuX/tentpole/face
Swe > ALL

super mix =))
shame that f0rest couldn't play, but its fine like this =)
gl
Even if Smaugy isnt a great 5on5 player like he is 1on1, but if he play with him ( He usually mixes in playpark cups ) ull c hes still like I say, a great Terrorist, he picks out an entry frag quite well with his aim, just as f0rest does. Aiming sure isnt the only thing that matters in a 5on5 but it sure is still helpful..
where is f0rest???
:-S
