Rodcad win DreamHack Benelux

Rodcad Gaming have qualified for this year's DreamHack Winter competition after winning the Benelux qualifier against LowLandLions.

The Benelux qualifier for DreamHack Winter took place this weekend at Firstlook 2009 Event in Amsterdam, and it gathered a total of four teams, two invited by the organisation and two who came from an online pre-qualifier.

The entire competition was supposed to be played in a best-of-three mode, but due to time restrictions made final had to be played on just a single map.

In an all-Belgian showdown, LowLandLions began better than their opponents, winning the first half 8-7. However, Rodcad Gaming got back into the game in the second period, winning 9-5 to run out 16-13 winners and qualify for prestigious tournament, scheduled to take place next month in Sweden.
