WeMade FOX will not be removing their Counter-Strike 1.6 squad, as reports towards the end of 2009 indicated.
False alarm – pcgames.com.cn reported that the South Korean organization would be dropping their Counter-Strike 1.6 squad, following poor results in 2009.
WeMade FOX did however this morning confirm to FPSkorea, that they will not be releasing the team. The players had signed contracts with WeMade FOX on the 12th of January 2009, the contracts would be for a two-year stint with the organization. This puts the team with the organization for at least another year, set to expire on the 12th of January 2011.
Rumors declined, as contracts expire 2011.
Spokesmen from WeMade FOX also stressed to FPSkorea, that the organization is not seeing the performance of the team as poor and do not understand why pcgames.com.cn ever reported the story.
WeMade FOX will be attending Arbalet Cup Kazakhstan 30-31st of January as their next tournament, followed by the Extreme Masters IV Asian Championship Finals 5-9th of February in Taipei, Taiwan.
